    That was so helpful; thank you. I didn't even realise I could turn the SU tags off from LO. What a life changer!

    Looks great! Could you also use trees that have transparent materials instead of layering a different style? Understandably your method demonstrates a good method using ovelaid model "viewports" in LayOut.

      yes you could. I guess I use X-Ray as it also fades the color as well...it's like an 'override' rather than having to edit the material in directly SketchUp.

    Great tutorial, so many good tips and tricks... Only complain is that cover art should match the final result. Current one creates false expectation.

    Great.... any tutorial showing wall.hatching for construction drawing purposes would be great one day to replace the technical cad software workflows

    It would be helpful if your screen was clearer. Very informative vid.

    Hi . Is there any way to make auto dimensions in sketchup layout?

    • @ericsargeant3254
      @ericsargeant3254 Рік тому

      After making one dimension, you can just double-click on the spot next to it you want to dimension and it auto-populates. This only works as a 'dimension string' and can't do the whole model/page at once.

    Sketchup is for 8th graders and Rookie Architects. Macs are for graphic designers. Why folks are creating an unusable mess in Sketchup, I submitted my permit drawings using Revit.

      Software is a tool. What you make with it is up to you 🙂

      Probably for the same reason that they sometimes make unusable messes in Revit
