Vane pumps are awesome. It's disappointing that the neat gadgets like this always seem to come from junk makers. You may want to use a bigger outlet hose to reduce the load on the motor/battery. These are considered positive displacement pumps. Meaning you, in theory at least, will get the same volume of fluid pumped per revolution regardless of rpm. Conversely, you can literally, if the tolerances are tight, lock the pump up if you block the output. We use vane pumps for high lift spray applications where we will pump chemicals from ground level to the top of large grain elevators, sometimes over 200 feet. With water based solutions that's .43 psi per foot of lift, so 86 psi just to get it up there, plus some friction line loss makes in somewhere in the 90+ psi range, plus the pressure we need at the nozzle. You know, it may be possible to retrofit an impeller and vanes in that Milwaukee unit and replace the glass with stainless. Now THAT'S a video right there. HAHA!
you can build your own better and cheaper with battery adapters (basically set it up for dual batteries using premium batteries Makita Milwaukee etc for half the price or less

I would not use for gas but if cleaned right away it would probably be fine. The vane pump should not be affected by gas but not 100% sure.
Water safe?
Absolutely it will pump water. That is what it is designed to do.
Looks like a descent pump and now only $89
I'm still using it today, holds up well.
@@tetradgroup used similar pumps ( Blackmear ) for fuel deliver, 3” pump to a 150’ of 1-1/2” hose pumping 110 gpm or 450 gpm through 3”.
Actually company's can't put what ever they want on the Lable otherwise it's called fraud.
