I’ve lost a total of 80 lbs. over the last 19 years (and I’m still Diabetic) but just gained 7 lbs. in one month on carnivore and high fat. Yesterday, I ordered 7 of your books and can’t wait to get my hands on them!! I’m so excited that I found you and your husband!!
Maria, I just made these today. All I had was a silicone probably a mini donut tray, lol. These came out pretty thin but delicious. I had the brilliant idea 😂 to try splitting them in half and air frying them for a few minutes. It made the best bagel “chips” although maybe you’ve already made something like this and I’m late to the party 😆 just wanted to share with you that I’m having so much fun experimenting with your recipes. Yesterday I made the noodles and served with marinara and chicken mozzarella sausages. Made the bread. Today the bagels/chips and more noodles to try with chicken Parmesan. Also made the chocolate pudding. Tasted super. Can’t wait to have my grandkids over tomorrow to try the pops I froze them into. Thank you so much for the wonderful recipes and ideas. I spent soooo many years making keto bread for my husband to have sandwiches on. What a pain that was. Gonna get your cookbooks. Blessings to you and your family~~Mary❤
I am reporting back Maria 🙂 We love those PSMF bagels; even my sugar addicted mom likes them especially fresh and still a bit warm from the oven. I have made them already 3 times lol. Tomorrow my ice cream maker will be delivered so this week the latest this coming Sunday I will be making PSMF ice cream. For those who are hesitant once you try you will be sorry you procrastinated for too long.
I look forward to trying them.🎉 I made your "wonder bread" tonight and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and texture. I also put some on a cookie sheet to see what it did. I'm thinking to let it dry and make crumbs for other foods with breading on them. I can't wait to try your lasagna as well. Loved you on Reversed. 😊
Alright, so I'm working on this. 50 yo Guy. My record is 22 days PSMF back in Jan 2023 but since then I keep breaking down. I'll do really well Sun to Thursday, After about 5 days I have this overwhelming feeling that I just need some calories. You know that feeling you get? For me I feel "I just need to eat!" kinda feeling... something crunchy, salty-sweet. I can't concentrate, work or think about anything else until I put out that fire! I don't know how else to describe it. Usually, I will dive in and have two bowls of cereal and that will last me until next Friday including come dark chocolate. After a week of eating eggs whites and meat, I feel like I am dying to eat something crunchy!! Then I go into a panic and cave in. Sugar addiction is very real. Stress doesn't help. I did the Porkrind thing back in the keto days but I don't think those are healthy and they can upset your stomach. So hopefully I'm not alone at this. I've been able to stay at my weight after my 3 weeks of PSMF in Jan, but as long as I have my "fixes" it keeps me at the same weight. Sucks but I am giving it my all! As for accomplishments I have not had any ice cream, pies or cakes for 6 months and don't plan on going back.

@@MariaEmmerich oh, OK, thank you! You have different versions of so many things. I really need to look at details closer but I’m going to make these today!
Maria, I have a question about PSMF… I think I did this without really trying and lost 2-3 lbs. I thought I had an intestinal thing going on (long story and gross lol!) but turns out I didn’t 🎉 anyhow I made a chicken soup with chicken breast and broth a little carrot and celery and turnips. Not a ton of veg. I ate this mostly for 2-3 days instead of all the eggs, beef etc…and some weight came off. Could I have possibly done a PSMF without knowing? So I’m curious now and am going to look further into this and try it a few days a week. I really don’t “have” to lose weight but would like to be at 135 where I got to doing this and not the 138-140. Thank you so much for any insight. I love your recipes and am going to look into your books. God bless you and your beautiful family~~Mary
@@MariaEmmerich ohhhh ok. I haven’t gotten into counting macros…yet. But found it interesting that the stubborn few pounds came off and I wasn’t hungry eating this. Reviewing what I ate was pretty low in fat and a lot of chicken breast. Finding the theory of PSMF very curious. So now I’m binge watching your videos, as I am still relatively new to you 😊 I’ve been keto since 2019 and have been toying with carnivore but still eat some veg, just working to find out what works best for digestion. Have Hashimoto’s. I am loving your videos. You are so kind to share your hard work and knowledge. Thank you again~~Mary
So in the short that I found where your son tries them you said the oven temp was 350 but recipe says 325..I am assuming the correct temp is 325. Thank you..
2questions! The second ‘experiment’ you mentioned adding more gelatin and egg white powder. Did the second batch come out better? If so, how much extra of both did you put in? I don’t have a bagel mold but a round one I made cloud buns in. Can I use that instead?
In the video at the eight-minute Mark on the right side of my screen on the left of your son's left elbow is a plate with something... is that a flatbread?
@@MariaEmmerich I love your bread recipe. I did something to mine after taking it out of the oven. My mom used to take butter and put all over her bread crust then place a towel over it and kind of placed it against the sides. I thought wow, I’ll try it. So I left it in the oven to cool and when time to take out, I had melted some butter and took the cooking brush and brushed the butter of the bread and put the cloth over it. It really did help the crust to not be some crunchy. I liked it very much. Thank you. I plan on making some more bread in the morning. ♥️
I made these tonight and they did not come out as expected. I used a scale on the grams setting so my measurements were exact. Followed recipe instructions but they just taste like egg white nothingness. They flattened as soon as I took them out of the oven and remained white in color vs how they appear in the video. Any idea where things could’ve gone wrong? These are expensive ingredients to waste 😢 I also tried your peanut butter chocolate protein cupcake recipe and it didn’t come out well. Feeling discouraged at this point and I’ve always been complimented on my cooking/baking (pre- Ketovore)🤷🏻♀️
If they flattened you didn't whip them up enough. This video can help troubleshoot: ua-cam.com/video/treN90iXkwM/v-deo.html They are white because you didn't add allulose. Mine didn't brown either. Allulose is what makes them brown when you bake. I'm not sure why your cupcakes didn't turn out. I know with new to you ingredients it can be a little tricky as you become accustomed to using them 🙏❤️
Thank you because I got 16 pieces out of this recipe. Totally thought it was going to be eggy but surprisingly pretty good will make again. 😊 going to try your bread next I bought a stand mixer just for it.
I tried the recipe and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way. the texture is strange. like biting into a sausage. and it smells funny too? I didn't dare swallow it
Following you since I saw you on Reverse. I agree more protein than fat. I tried high fat, ended up with extreme diarrhea. I don't have a gallbladder either. I bought your book Carnivore Cookbook. Love your recipes. Am diabetic, 65 year old women at 180 pounds. Trying to loose 40 pounds to start.Would love to connect with you
I was actually curious about this with people who have their gallbladder removed, I have heard some people can adjust somewhat but never reach the 80/20 high fat which a friend of mine is really trying to, but I am glad to see that there is actually a way for people like this! I am going to direct my friend to this comment she will be so happy to read this success and maybe try it as she was struggling a bit on keto with no gallbladder.
These tips will help: 1. Please watch my UA-cam video making it to see technique. ua-cam.com/video/jbrDcFAx9X4/v-deo.htmlsi=JRqfNee9DdcdCEwM 2. Use real eggs and separate the whites. Carton egg whites are more likely to fall. 3. Whip the heck out of them! Everyone under-whips the whites! 4. Don’t use protein powders that have fat. Fat causes whites to fall. 5. Do not touch the whites with any water. Not a drop. 6. Don’t make it on a humid day unless you have AC. The whites will fall. 7. Leave it in the oven after it bakes. I leave it in for at least 30 minutes. 8. Slice it the next day when completely cool. 9. Or try adding 1/4 cup more protein powder. Some brands are different. 10. If it’s too stiff like styrofoam, do not whip a long time after you add the protein powder. You have over mixed the protein powder into the whites.
Just bought 3 PMSF books from you and happy to have great, great recipes.... Thank you for all your hard work Maria.

Yes, you can use this recipe to make buns or even a loaf if you prefer.
@@MariaEmmerich the written recipe on here doesn’t have the added gelatin amount or the added egg white powder listed though.
Grams? Do you have this recipe converted to ounces or cups as measurements ?
I use grams in this recipe for the most amazing results!
