Hi I'm new to your channel and I have two questions. My 1st question is that I filed for my llc in May 15 2021 but have not done any business under the llc what would I need to put in the accounting begin year and end year. My 2nd question is if you could explain more in detail the question that ask "Does the entity have zero Texas Gross Receipts?. Please help and thank you so much for your time.
Your accounting period is still set (usually calendar year) it doesn't ask about activity. Texas Gross Receipts is a different revenue definition, if you have $0 then no tax due
@@RonaldRohdeLaw thank you so much for your reply
@@kaydenise237 happy to help!

glad it helped!
Thank You.
You're welcome
So this will help getting reinstated
Yes its also a requirement!
Do you have to put something for Principal Office and Principal Place of Business? What if you don’t have either of those?
Yes, you must have an office, what about your RA?
@@RonaldRohdeLaw Can you put your RA for both Principal Office and Principal Place of Business? Do you have to fill in both?
I added the same address (my LLC Virtual address) in the officers, director.. and in the registered agent,
is it correct?
you can't necessarily use an RA address as your business address, they won't forward regular mail to you
Can i put virtual address in Member address instead of Residential home address?
I'm not sure what is your virtual address? is it a real address?
Can we file federal tax returns at our own ? On this web portal ?
Unfortunately, no federal returns on this portal. This is a state of Texas only thing!
I just register my LLC last year. And honestly had no idea that I needed to make this franchise tax report.
So I received a letter from the Texas comptroller: it said, Texas notice of Forfeiture of right to transact business.
So I called the number on the letter and they advise me to create an account and pay the Texas CPA $51 fee and I did.
Today I called Texas comptroller to follow up and they told me that my LLC is active.
So, my question is, do I need to do anything else? Does that means I’m now reinstated?
I really appreciate your help.
There’s two components. Comptroller and SOS. When you check comptroller website, does it show good standing?
Comptroller website shows active.
Question I messed up I actually filed the common informant report instead of the public information report. Do I need to contact them to void this?
I'm not sure what that form is, do you have a link?
On webfile I accidentally clicked (file common owner information only) instead of (file a public/ ownership information report) just wondering what I need to do to fix this
Does it take time after filing all the back reports before the clearance will be available? it says denied. But I just filed the reports
Yes, give it a day or two. it has to clear two different agencies, comptroller and SOS are different!
@@RonaldRohdeLaw that's's what I thought! Thank you!

Can u edit after filing and the due dste passed?
Yes! You can file an amended return via webfile
I’m trying to get a virtual address and registered agent so that my personal address and into are not public, but this form seems like it defeats that purpose! I don’t want all of my information to be public, please help
Did you file your personal address on the SOS filing? If so, its already public. Contact us for anonymous filing in Texas. We provide that service as a law firm! ronaldrohdelaw.com
@@RonaldRohdeLaw I intend to utilize a virtual address and registered agent service so that my home address would not be on the SOS filing. I have not filed yet, and I don’t want to pay you to do it, when I can do it myself.
You did not answer my question whether this form eliminates measures taken in order to maintain personal privacy for a home business.
@@dakdur1126 its public record, yes.
@@RonaldRohdeLaw so Texas is not allowing business owner to keep their home address private (away from public viewing) anymore??
Texas will let anyone find where a business owner lives so that the business owner can be harassed by the public? Texas will let business owners be vandalized and have property destroyed by the public because Texas forces business owner to put their home address available to the public in the form of public record???
I get that the state wants to know but Karen’s should not have access to business owners home address,
Oh an employee looked at Karen wrong, Karen is gonna go harass the business owner at their home!
How does this even make sense?
