    This was super easy to make! I got the hang of the pattern after a second try, I actually made this for my kobo. I double stranded my yarn (pink and purple) used a 6.5mm (K) hook for the chain (I used 18 chains for a snug fit since I wasn't going to use a button for closing) and a 5.25mm (I) hook for the rest. I ended up doing 9 rows of the puff stitch and the 2 rows hdc at the end. Thank you for the tutorial!

    I'm having a bit of trouble. I've triple checked my stitch count for the first two rows and I have 38 stitches. For row 3 I'm getting 19 cluster puffs. But when I go to do round 4, I'm only getting 18 cluster puffs. From what I can see I've done everything exactly how you've done it in the video, including the slip stitches, so I'm not sure what's causing it to decrease. It seems like a few other people have had the same issue as well :( I tried making one where I stitched into the chain 2, and that helps me keep the same number of clusters, but then the seam looks wonky. I'm not sure what to do :(

      @macy_mayday 4 місяці тому

      Oh my gosh scratch all of that. I figured it out! To anyone else having the same issue I did: it's difficult to see in the video. but there is a small stitch directly between the top of the first cluster and the chain 2 that you're supposed to make the slip stitch into. Maybe that's super obvious but that's where I was going wrong. 🤦‍♀ well I hope my mistake can help someone else in the future!! Boy do I feel silly

      @@AFitcraftylife hey, you can slow the video down by clicking the two dots on the top right and change the playback speed. You want your tail from the beginning chain to be inside your work.

      @@ltkcuties thanks, I think I’m just having a hard time seeing the stitch with the color yarn but I will adjust the video speed! Thanks for your response and video tutorial! I love the pattern

      @@AFitcraftylife no problem. I also have a few other patterns on my youtube using this stitch that are in solid yarn that could be helpful.

    It would've helped if you'd used a single shade/ lighter shade yarn for this tutorial. It was hard to follow and you were teaching amazing. Just the yarn made it complicated.

      Thank you for your feedback! I will definitely add it to my list to refilm in a lighter shade. 💓

    Do you have a pattern for a kindle scribe?

    • @ltkcuties
      @ltkcuties  6 місяців тому +1

      You can use this pattern for a scribe, just continue to chain the amount across for Sizing. The written pattern includes a book size. 📖

      @@lupeg2061 just the video is included! I did however put ch 8 for the loop but I realized later I liked ch 10 better.
