Some of the people (girl at 6:56) throw the stick too high which makes the dog jump higher which reduces the length of the jump. It's so obvious that they should throw the stick as far across the pool as possible so the dog is motivated to jump farther. Some people don't understand this basic concept. The dog can't both jump higher and farther at the same time. Duh. 🙄
Fair play to the woman with the purple hair, she nailed the throw. If it's too short, low, or high it affects how much effort the dog puts in to the leap
