Totally agree! Vapors are not for everyone and luckily I can fit them in, but if they don’t fit you, you’d dislike them. Actually, I tried the Speedflows and they are not my cup of tea, felt uncomfortable in them. I loooove these reviews because it shows how much personal preference influence which boot is the best for YOU.

Were the speedflow tighter on your foot or wider? Because I’m have speedflows right now and I wanna change to mercurials but quite skeptical about my wide feet. I used to have superfly 4s and they were comfortable. Are the Vapor 14 or superfly 6 slimmer or wider than superfly 4?
@@akshathsarkar907 For me, the superfly 4 was able to handle more foot shapes. Both the vapor 14 and superfly 6 are slim fitting from my tests. If you have wider feet I'd stick with the speedflows! They're incredible boots in my opinion.
Buying these today in an AG stud pattern since my outdoor season is done. I've actually had the previous gen superflys and they are amazing! Can't wait and thanks for the video.
Fantastic! The AG stud pattern is really good - I wore the AG pattern on the MDS 003 vapors and they were so good.
Not buying the 14. The 13 was better in how it accommodate even wider feet but likely the 14 is cheaper to make with the new material (not knit base) but 13 was just a technical marvel and I got 4 pairs.

I agree mate! The 13 was a fantastic football boot. I'd put it on par with the Vapor 11 which was one of the best performing vapors ever.
@@NoahCavanaugh Yes I have 2 pairs of Superfly 4 and they are the best. Carbon fibre sole plate without being overly stiff. Score some big goals on those and is still wearing the green one just this past Sunday.

I got these back in January and wore them maybe.. twice? Sold them off recently. The 14s just didn’t feel good. Had a great look, but the upper just didn’t have that premium “Vapor” feeling. It felt kinda stiff and plastically to me. The most recent models have been great. The 13 and 11-10 were amazing boots. My personal favorite was the 12 (that WC colorway will always have a special place in my heart lol). This just for me, fell short. Hopefully the 15 is good

Honestly, I prefer the Flyknit upper of the Vapor 13 more than the vaporposite of Vapor 14 and 15s

So I bought the x ghosted.2 and bought them I'm size 10 us but they were a little too big (my toes fit bit my heel wasn't fully against the back of the shoe) so I was planning on getting them in 9.5 us but now I'm planning on buying vapor 14s so should I go with 9.5 or 10 us you think?
It depends on your foot shape mate! Sometimes boots fit a bit different depending on the brand. I'd try your normal size and if the vapors are still too big, go with 1/2 size down! 🤝

I think it’s just a plastic or synthetic material! I don’t think it’s the same material as the Vaporposite upper

I wish the big 3 would go back to knit. Accommodated more feet types and it felt like they were just mastering their different knits.

I busted out my old Ace 16.1 prime knit and they are amazing. Fit and feel super good.

Hey Noah! I got yesterday the vapor 14 on ag in 9.5 us .I am not gonna lie ,they were tight straight out of the box and wrapped nicely my feet.I went today to the pitch to try them on and I took them of after 20 minutes cause my feet were absolute damaged .I have a big match tomorrow and on Wednesday .Sould I wear them or no and what should I do with them?
I probably wouldn't wear them if they destroyed your feet mate, seems like a pretty easy answer there

Not sure if you'll respond. I wanted to ask? I'm currently deciding between the tiempo elite and the mercurial vapor elite. Which would you recommend has the best comfort out of the two and is best for when striking the ball? I'm aware the mercurial is a speed boot but I feel it's also dependent on the person running with the boots and the tiempos wouldn't hamper you in this area.
In my opinion, the Tiempo is definitely more comfortable! 🤝

I just received my vapor 14’s and they feel perfect , only issue is that I have a little bit of heel slippage, I wear size 8UK for all my other boots and they fit perfect but for this , I have some heel slippage. Do I need to break them in more or should I go half a size down ?
If they fit length wise, stay true to size and give them some break in time! It will be much better that they fit properly. You can also start to wear grip socks that have grip in the heel area - that might help too!
@@NoahCavanaughI literally need to wear double socks or really thick socks to avoid the slipping and I’m not sure if breaking it in will cause the boot to shrink to my foot , if anything it will loosen up I think, it’s strange cause they fit perfectly but there is a heel slip problem. @@paballojr.497 You could absolutely try it mate! When I have that issue, it’s usually because the boot itself doesn’t fit me as well as it should. The heel is a really important part of the boot and fit, so if that doesn’t fit right, maybe the boot isn’t the right size OR the right boot for you! If you fit in a vapor, I reckon try going 1/2 size down. If that doesn’t work, try the ultra 1.3, Mizuno Morelia Neo 3 Beta, or the X Speedflow.1! All good options in that category
Have the same Problem 🥲. They fill so big . The weird part is that the Phantom( which supposed to be wider) They fit my foot much better
I have the same issue.. just received them and feel the heel slippage. I went true to size. Not sure if I should return them and get Speedflow .1.

Neither for my foot type, but if I absolutely had to pick, I'd go with the X Speedflow + no question 🔥

If they vapors hurt your feet, I'd go with a different boot! the Superflys are the exact same boot, they just have a small piece of flyknit around the ankle area. The heel in both shoes is the same🤝

I actually bought the same color way of these in a pro tier AG and I went up half a size and I can comfortably say mercs are the best football boots I’ve ever tried fit is amazing touch feels like nothing on your feet but if you have more of a wide foot especially through the toes then I wouldn’t recommend it but I’d love your opinion if you try these in match with that 9.5 us size
I love to hear that mate! Unfortunately I won't be wearing them in a match because even the 9.5 isn't as comfortable as I feel good trying in a match - with my foot surgery I have to be very careful which boots I actually try in a training session!

I wouldn't recommend them for wide feet mate! I'd try something like a Phantom GT instead!

If that's too tight for you mate I would go up 1/2 a size, but only if your referring to US sizing. US sizing seems to be the most consistent across brands.
