Even after abandoning his station, crushed by pressure, and wandering the streets taking in his newly discovered true vocation of Supernatural Investigator, the sound of hazard lights continued to haunt him.
Something about Jim abandoning the bus fills me with anxiety. Those people will be waiting there with the bus forever, that one guy still waiting for his 2 student week passes...
After Jim plowed into a bunch of people with his bus, he was convicted of manslaughter, subsequently commiting suicide in his cell. Now he wanders a world of shadowy beings who demand tickets, the clicking of the turn signal counting the seconds of his eternity.
So we know never to let Jim Sterling become a bus driver. He can't handle the pressure and just runs off screaming. I have a new appreciation for bus drivers after watching this.
This is actually Hideyo Kojima's Silent Hills. Despite Konami's attempts to shut it down, he released the game secretly, disguising it as Bus Simulator 16.
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) Actually he turned out to be the ghost of a crab in one of these simulator videos more than two years ago, so I was anticipating something fucking stupid haha.
Only the incomparable Jim Sterling can make a 22 minute video about a bus driving simulator where he doesn't actually drive the bus. Thank gourd for you, sir.
Local man sets out to become bus driver, accidentally unravels a conspiracy in which he was actually dead the entire time and must capture rogue ghosts.
He went from abandoning a bus to becoming a paranormal investigator and he was only about 5 minutes late for the next stop. I wonder what takes my bus driver so dammed long.
As a person who spent a long time relying on public transport, I can only assume this is an 100% accurate representation of how to be a bus driver considering they're always stupidly late.
Came in expecting the usual Jimpressions. Ended up watching a brand new Machinima. This was hilarious. I'm amazed that something called Bus Simulator allowed you to basically do everything you did. This went so far sideways, it became a brand new game.
I love these simulator reviews where Jim just explores the environment rather than doing the actual simulation. They are among his most entertaining Jimpressions.
This didn't look all that horrible. Not amazing either though. Had Jim actually played the game properly, I'm sure it would've just been incredibly mundane.
Jim, you need to wake up, you've been stuck during a livestream of Slaughtering Grounds and your brain is making you think you're in the future, playing better games!
i have worked for that company for the last 2 years and they really have come a long way. also the boss is amazing and compassionate. I think bus sim 16 was still partly or mostly made in the basement of the boss ^^ now they have a great office overlooking the alps and quite a few more people.
I'm drinking coffee in preparation of my venture off to my job that I kind of hate, and I needed this. Twas hilarious Jim. Thank you for this. Thank you for you.
Anyone else notice when he turns the interior lights on the whole world gets brighter? Anyway, this was the best laugh I've had in a while. Still can't compare to Street Cleaning Simulator though.
Ah, beautiful, another Bus Simulator video. And it didn't disappoint either. I gotta say, your "renegade mode" video of Bus Simulator '12 still has to be one of my favorite videos on your entire channel.
What's that, Zach? You think I should stop looking for letters in my coffee while driving? Next you'll be telling me I shouldn't use my phone and laptop at the same time while driving.
One day Jim is gonna make a video where he seriously just PLAYS one of those bus simulators for 20 minutes without getting out and it's gonna blow all of our minds
+Bob Stickman Not quite apples to apples. CoD is just fine for what it is. It is a competently designed first person shooter. This... This is something special.
Neighborbob That is Activison's marketing ploy with Call of Duty, slowly adding in small features and improved graphics in each of their new releases... although, Advanced Warfare was probably the only one to break away from the mold, and it was the most hated of the bunch, that and ghosts at least kind of.
+Neighborbob Cod is actually good when you buy the first one, its kind of disa[pointing once you purchase a few and realise you are just buying the same game with very slight improvements every year. However that's the case with a lot of games these days and Cod is no where near the worst one for this
CichlidAsh COD is careful not to break the mold. It knows what its playerbase wants and delivers. They take a good game and they just polish it up a little more every year. Jim did a video on the benefits of setting a path and sticking to it in his Sega Jimquisition. Activision just keeps polishing it to make it a better and better experience, just as Nintendo did with Mario.
Even after abandoning his station, crushed by pressure, and wandering the streets taking in his newly discovered true vocation of Supernatural Investigator, the sound of hazard lights continued to haunt him.
He's like the Master in a way.
Lmao nice man.
Something about Jim abandoning the bus fills me with anxiety. Those people will be waiting there with the bus forever, that one guy still waiting for his 2 student week passes...
Still waiting.
This comment made me cringe unbelievably hard.
Still waiting...
Still waiting…
Still waiting...
After Jim plowed into a bunch of people with his bus, he was convicted of manslaughter, subsequently commiting suicide in his cell. Now he wanders a world of shadowy beings who demand tickets, the clicking of the turn signal counting the seconds of his eternity.
Geospasmic ....holy shit...
I'm glad you're still one of the few people who plays simulators correctly.
Jim plays video games like I used to when I was a child. I love the imagination.
Watch Jim Sterling play Bus Simulator and do everything but drive a bus.
So we know never to let Jim Sterling become a bus driver. He can't handle the pressure and just runs off screaming. I have a new appreciation for bus drivers after watching this.
Missed opportunity to call it Chunbus.
+TheShonenJumper ChungaBus
Jim never changes. And this is and not a good thing. That said, that chungus gimmick is getting old.
I think this is one of my favourite Jim things ever
"Like The Sixth Sense, but with buses. 10/10"
- Steam Reviewer
This explains why the buses are never on time.
I lost it at, "YOU drive the bus!"
Dammit Bobbeh your profile pic and name is hilarious 😂
"I drove into them to collect them! That's how videogames work!"
As a former bus driver I applaud you, sir. Thank God for you.
This is actually Hideyo Kojima's Silent Hills. Despite Konami's attempts to shut it down, he released the game secretly, disguising it as Bus Simulator 16.
Gotta love the way whenever you play any of the Bus Simulator games, you never actually do much with a bus. Great episode.
I don't think anyone saw that twist coming.
Yep
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) Actually he turned out to be the ghost of a crab in one of these simulator videos more than two years ago, so I was anticipating something fucking stupid haha.
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) Im pretty sure than anyone who has seen The Others and have ears figured that plot twist out.
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) M.Night Shyamalan did it again!
What a twist!
I was in hysterics 5 mins in and I haven't stopped laughing since. Jim you need to do more of these "role play" videos. Fucking fantastic!
"Kiss me until I....feel good."
I don't know why but this line just hit me in a certain way and I can't stop laughing
The blinker sound effect followed you everywhere, reminding you of your failure under pressure
Jim, you're the only one who could turn this game into a Walking Simulator and get away with it! XD
Anyone else disappointed he didn't go with *Chungbus*?
+Lofty Skinner Now I am. Thanks.
+Lofty Skinner No, because it's always Chungus, that's the joke.
4:42 "Also the ramp needs to be stowed. How do I do that!?"
It's easy, Jim, you've just got to "HIT THE LEVER"!
Only the incomparable Jim Sterling can make a 22 minute video about a bus driving simulator where he doesn't actually drive the bus.
Thank gourd for you, sir.
amazing episode. had me laughing out loud the whole time. Plays a bus games, only spends 10 seconds driving the bus
h...hey jim....do you know how to close the bus door? y...you...HIT THE LEVER
+Christopher Beckett You deserve all the likes!
"Don't fucking give me park equipment if I can't enjoy and engage in activities!"
- STERLING, Jim. 2016
'We apologise that your bus was late. The driver abandoned his bus in favour of tracking down ghosts.
I can just hear the developer now, "Damn that Jim Fucking Sterling Son! He spoiled the secret ghost ending!!"
Local man sets out to become bus driver, accidentally unravels a conspiracy in which he was actually dead the entire time and must capture rogue ghosts.
+HellfireComms Heeeey! I forgot you guys existed for a while!
He is like a modern day Charon, his job was to ferry the deceased through purgatory with his bus.
+HellfireComms I should start writing a script about this.
I'd read that manga.
"Or maybe you like the cut of Mr Cruz's jib!" made me cry laugh XD
"I'M A BUS DRIVER, I CAN COMMANDEER ANY VEHICLE AND USE IT AS A BUS!"
Why do I laugh at the silliest things??
And that's what happens when you drive a bus in Silent Hill. This is just a rather clear day.
Your Bus Simulator videos are the high point of every year.
This one of the funniest things Jim's ever made. Awesome.
I agree, lets slap our buttholes together.
He went from abandoning a bus to becoming a paranormal investigator and he was only about 5 minutes late for the next stop. I wonder what takes my bus driver so dammed long.
"I don't want her on here, I'm out of here, YOU drive the bus!!!!" Lol.
Top quality game journalism. This is why I'm subscribed. Five spooky specters out of five bus banshees.
I am in love with this episode. Keep doing the Lord's work, Jim.
This video is too funny. I'm actually out of breath from laughing so hard.
Mr Sterling, you are going to give that poor dev some sort of neurosis
Dont know why but these Bus Simulator and Train Simulator games that Jim plays are one of my favourite Jimpression videos
"I've simulated buses before" - Jim.
I'm sure you have, Jim. Entire cities must have lined up just to ride you.
+Urza26 ZING!
Jim slowly succumbing to the eldritch horrors of german simulation games
What happens when you skip the tutorial: A case study
Moar like: A better and more interesting game
This is not false.
It's really interesting when you don't follow the tutorial on a flight simulator.
I agree, lets slap our buttholes together.
why the dislikes
this is literally
one of the best videos I've and will ever see in my entire life
This is one of the funniest videos i've seen in a long time!
I love it how when you are running for minutes outside the bus, you can still hear the ghostly sounds of the 4-way flashers of the bus Jim.
I love these simulator reviews where Jim just explores the environment rather than doing the actual simulation. They are among his most entertaining Jimpressions.
Supernatural. Season 28. He has retired and become a bus driver but is haunted mentally by his past
This is the best video I have ever seen
I was wondering if Jim would get bored with the game and just start running around doing whatever... he did not disappoint ;)
"Just get on. It's free today." That will be my dream bus driver. XD
This didn't look all that horrible. Not amazing either though. Had Jim actually played the game properly, I'm sure it would've just been incredibly mundane.
This was great Jim, thank you.
Jim, you need to wake up, you've been stuck during a livestream of Slaughtering Grounds and your brain is making you think you're in the future, playing better games!
+Papa Schobes aw but baby seals are adorable
+Yog Sothoth Quit trying to redpill Jim, guys.
Your best video to date, man
wtf did i just watch. the bus sim 16 videos are so fun to watch :D
The Half-Life series has been without a new installment for so long that the G-Man had to find a new job.
This is an utter gem. Thanks for brightening my evening! I'll never trust ambulances again.
22:00 "OH MY GOD! We were the the ghost of a bus all along!" - Jim Sterling, 2016
i have worked for that company for the last 2 years and they really have come a long way. also the boss is amazing and compassionate.
I think bus sim 16 was still partly or mostly made in the basement of the boss ^^
now they have a great office overlooking the alps and quite a few more people.
11:36 LOL, thanks Jim that made my day XD
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 This was far more entertaining than the game.
The greatest episode in ages! I lost it when you kept saying "engage in activities" XD
Bus Simulator 16: a modernized interpretation of Kharon, the ferryman who transported the souls of the dead across the river styx.
lol too funny. edit: love that you keep hearing the blinkers even when far from the buss. and there are no drivers in the cars!!! ghosts!!!
Here's a man who's way too much fun at his job.
+Super Duper the meat bi product?
+Tom S. It's Jim at his best really. I could get used to this.
Wrong Simulator 16
This... This is a piece of art. They should play this on a TV at the Louvre.
" I got to pick the people up!" I love you Jim Sterling
You've done two Jim. Watching you simulate bus while on percocet was unforgettable in every way!
I'm getting a lot of Air Control flashbacks just seeing you wander around the interior of the bus.
Totally missed an opportunity for ChungBus Inc.
this might be jim's most brilliant work yet.
Another one of my favourite videos done by Jim
I'm drinking coffee in preparation of my venture off to my job that I kind of hate, and I needed this.
Twas hilarious Jim. Thank you for this. Thank you for you.
Always a pleasure to see Jim play a Bus Simlator the way it was meant to be played !
"Screaming Tampons"? He really does come up with some interesting insults, doesn't he?
I'm enjoying these videos.
Anyone else notice when he turns the interior lights on the whole world gets brighter?
Anyway, this was the best laugh I've had in a while. Still can't compare to Street Cleaning Simulator though.
Definitely one of your best. Please keep doing more like this. At least when it feels ripe for the improv.
"That bus driver looks like a vampire!"
Welcome to the real world, Jim.
Possibly the greatest bus gameplay of all time.. wait no, I stand corrected.. The best bus gameplay of all time!
You are by far the best bus driver that city has ever had.
+Dante Glory Oh, hey Jason. Why do you kill so many stupid people?
Sir Fur Are you saying I should kill smart people?
Dante Glory I'm saying it would be more challenging.
I would totally play a game where you go around as an undercover Area 51 agent masquerading as a bus driver to hunt down ghost buses.
Ah, beautiful, another Bus Simulator video. And it didn't disappoint either. I gotta say, your "renegade mode" video of Bus Simulator '12 still has to be one of my favorite videos on your entire channel.
Picturing Jim as a bus driver was the highlight of my day.
This game is like Euro Truck Simulator, but for people without trucker caps! How considerate!
oh hey you
I agree, lets slap our buttholes together.
A housing estate with adaquate parking!!! No no this isn't real it's a paranormal ghost world.
Paranormal Investigator may be a more fitting job. It did look like you were playing as Francis York Morgan.
What's that, Zach? You think I should stop looking for letters in my coffee while driving? Next you'll be telling me I shouldn't use my phone and laptop at the same time while driving.
Ahhhhhhhh that resi evil noise at the end
+bolloksitsmeee Thank you. I was hoping to find in the comments where I knew that music from.
ha ha Bus driver _psychological_ breakdown simulator ..brilliant ..." I became a bus driver by mistake"
These have always been the funniest videos Jim makes, great stuff
Directed by
M. Night Shamalamaman
+Roy Batty M. Night Shamalamadingdong.
M. Night Shamalamadingdongthewitchisdead.
You were thinking of Daniel Holtz when you were talking about Angel! :P
Some games are just made for role playing, like Bus Simulator 16.
One day Jim is gonna make a video where he seriously just PLAYS one of those bus simulators for 20 minutes without getting out and it's gonna blow all of our minds
Bus Simulator - The same damn game with slightly improved graphics each year... kind of sounds like Call of Duty.
+Bob Stickman Also Call of Duty also feels like you're at on a bus most of the time.
+Bob Stickman Not quite apples to apples. CoD is just fine for what it is. It is a competently designed first person shooter. This... This is something special.

"Kiss me until I feel good"
Im going to be using that line a lot going forward.
This one video is gold Jim... Laughed so hard
