The guilt and manipulation that is heaped on children in religious homes can be very debilitating. It ended up causing me so many struggles with low self esteem, self hatred, and insecure as an adult I felt like no matter what I did I was a terrible person etc etc. It wasn't until I left this religion and now practice no religion that I finally found peace in my heart and life.

I am not religious, nor am I a Christian. But I truly believe that the internet, gaming, and social media exposes young people to things they are not cognitively and mentally able to sort through. Things that can cause mental illness. I think its amazing that you're showing restraint and pulling back to keep your mind clear and focused on what's important.

He wanted to be a minister now doubts God. He was baptized at 7. I hope he will come back to the father as u have. Love ❤️ and prayers 🙏 for your family.
"Adultery in the heart" seems like a very extreme belief to me. But nonetheless gaming can be very addictive and learning to do things in moderation is an important part of growing up.

Josh, you are a brave young man and you are growing up in a difficult world. Navigating what's out there on the internet and yet having to use it for important things is difficult today. But you realized you were going down a rabbit hole and you did something about it. I admire you for that. We all do things we're not proud of and I too have found freedom in being honest about my mistakes and sins to those that I love, and then moving on from that into a state of peace and grace. Such a courageous young man. I too got rebaptized after a time spent straying from the Father's guiding hands. The devil still offers temptations but the more you look up to the Father the easier it is to stay true to Him. Oh for that glorious day when He will make us all new!

Open the Bible you have and ask God to speak to you through your reading. And He will speak to you in à personnal way. God is powerful enough and merciful enough and such à loving Father, that Hé wants and he can speak to you in à personnal way directly to your heart. It's about relationship with your Creator, not about accumulating knowledge, not about having thé first manuscrit, He's waiting for your simple love in return of His love shown through Jésus-Christ mission. What would it look like to “cut off a body part” if it’s the tongue that is causing one to sin? Besides cutting off the tongue. Being silent? That can be easier said than done…
Why are you talking of these things with your head covered? This is something that has been on my heart for years as a covered woman the Bible states that a man shouldn't be covered..... would love a discussion on this topic.

Open the Bible you have and ask God to speak to you through your reading.
And He will speak to you in à personnal way.
God is powerful enough and merciful enough and such à loving Father, that Hé wants and he can speak to you in à personnal way directly to your heart.
It's about relationship with your Creator, not about accumulating knowledge, not about having thé first manuscrit,
He's waiting for your simple love in return of His love shown through Jésus-Christ mission.

Thanks for this sacred Scripture reading and Josh's testimony, bearing his soul. I'm sure it's going to help someone, young and old alike, Josh. You have more guts than I had at your age. However, I distinctly remember that age of confusion, AND the lies that old serpent whispered in my ear, just like Eve, while I contemplated doing something wrong. He would faintly whisper, "Nothing bad will happen to you if you do that. Or, no one will see or know it, so go ahead!"
