They do it solely to piss you off and feed off your misplaced anger, fear and frustration. SEETHE into oblivion.
The countless anti-LGBT laws and much higher statistics of discrimination and violence say otherwise. Hence why Pride exists.
If you have been fortunate to grow up in a community where gay people are tolerated and treated equally, that's awesome. But many more people have not had that luxury. Pride exists to remind those people that they DO have a community and DO have people who care about (and like) who they really are.
I used to think like you because I grew up in a community where pretty much everyone couldn't care less that I was gay. But I also know that I grew up in a well-off suburb in the Northern US. Things look a lot different in urban communities (counterintuitively for some, black men tend to be pretty socially conservative), or rural communities (everywhere, but especially in the South).

I do believe October 7th. Would’ve been prevented by the Lord for watching and keeping a watch on these people, but I believe the Lord lifted his hands for one hour and look what happened. They don’t understand when you read the Testaments they keep going back to their own vomit. It’s sad.
