Most movies can Talk the Talk but I guess you can say this one... Walks the Walk.

+Jeremy Jahns you're worth buying on bluray
***** you're dogsh...wait no you aren't
I thought it was absolutely perfect the way they ended it with a slight "nod" to 9/11 without exploiting it or cramming it down our throats. "He changed the date, and it said, FOREVER" with that look of slight sadness, as the city fades into the backround and the Towers glow. I wasn't expecting that and it was emotional. This film was great, Pierre was a true American hero and he's not even American!
indeed, in my opinion that's the most tasteful way to nod towards the September 11th attacks. the date being "forever" and the towers glowing and being the last thing to fade away, in my mind, Meant that the victims would Shine on Forever.
Joseph Gordon is the voice of Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet :D
oh snap
+Charissa Lim hey! nice seeing people show some love for that movie. Such an underrated classic.
+Charissa Lim I'm pretty sure we all knew that lol
but any excuse to bring up that awesome movie is awesome.
+Jalanko13 I know..it was an excuse lol
+Charissa Lim
I actually never knew that, holy shit
Really want to see this in 3D now. Joseph Gordon Levitt looks so different in this role.
I guess you could say this movie was, The Walk to remember.
+Luke Umbra YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
+Luke Umbra *The Talk to remember
So, never forget it?
So, never forget it?
BADAUM-TSSSSSSSSS!!!
Basically agreed with everything you said - definitely a must-see in 3D (a real rarity these days). Glad to see Zemeckis still make awesome films. And BTW, you should definitely check out "Man On Wire", just as thrilling - but a lot more insight into Petit's thought process, etc.
And I enjoyed your little nod to the Dire Straits at the end there :-)
OMG the microwave guys!!!
+Jogwheel Perfect response to Jeremy's spot-on review...

I'm actually just a single person, but hello :)
The whole experience seeing this movie in IMAX 3D was spectacular & why I go to the movies it was based on man who made himself a legend & did the impossible... This film made me & my girlfriend feel like we were the closest to being near the World Trade Center Towers since it looked so real like we we're there up in the sky with this man walking on that line in the clouds which was breathtaking. Simply epic & amazing. Made my heart beat faster & a rush of adrenaline go... No movie did that except TDKR & the new DBZ Movies. I give it a 10/10 for best picture of the year full of wonder & witt to dare to dream & make it happen. Josh was phenomenal playing that role. :)
This movie is so underrated
I agree!!!
This was a pretty great weekend. The Walk, Sicario, and The Martian were all terrific.
Sircario?
+aram Aram Is that a question?
+Jeremy Jahns Sircario?
+ThePreciseClimber, Sicario?
Sicario?
sircario?
3:35 You haven't seen Man on Wire? One of the greatest documentaries ever!
Jeremy, thank you so much for making these reviews. You seriously make my day when a new one comes out, definitely continue working hard!
Hey Jeremy if it gets released near you, go watch MacBeth starring Michael Fassbender. It is incredible.
Irshad Husain I give it a 9/10 and it's Fassbender's best performance of his career.
+Rowan J Coleman Whoa, seriously?! Better than Shame or Hunger? Getting more excited for Assassin's Creed, then.
...Goddammit, doesn't come out in Canada until December. Whyyyyyy....?
CallistaRhian The guy who directed MacBeth is also directing Assassins Creed which is something to get even more excited about.
+Rowan J Coleman I know, and Cotillard, too!
+Rowan J Coleman Oooh, I saw the trailer for it recently and thought "This'll either be amazing or the absolute worst piece of garbage ever released." lol Glad to hear that it looks like it's the first one.
Damn this is the first time i saw your video's so early so i need to say something smart and witty.
.........
it's good to see Joseph Gorden Levit getting so many roles lately.
i'm sure that after 3rd rock money had to be TIGHT for a while, now people are trying to ROPE him into all kinds of big movies. I hope the BALANCE between personal and celebrity life goes smoothly for him.
..... i'l leave now.
I hate you
+Mujtaba Ellari That was actually very good compared to all the other shitty puns in the comment section
+Mujtaba Ellari BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
By that statement, I can say that JGL is one of the few child stars that are just as successful when they become adults.
Jeremy, your fucking awesome, how do you NOT have a million subscribers by now?
Because he's not someone who screams German in front of a computer.
Victor K xD
Victor K He's Swedish.
*you're
*Swedish.
You're awesome Jeremy! Loved being subscribed to you all these years!
Love your reviews man!!!!! Please do until dawn!
just wondering..how many movie you watch in a week?
+Nice Guy I think he never stops watching movies, so he sleeps through "Dog shit" movies
he lives in a movie theater. every video is filmed in front of the screen curtain.
+ZaydL what?
+Riley Riley Hahaha, that's complete b*llshit. Go watch his Q&A video's, he has a normal house. He did used to work at a theater though, he can still go there and watch free movies. :)
+Reif Walker again, that's a fucking lie.
you are friken amazing jeremy i've been watching for about a year and never have I been disappointed with a video by you. 11/10
Thanks for another great review Jeremy!
Every time I'm about to make my own reviews I see a notification that you uploaded one right before...One of these days Jeremy, ONE OF THESE DAYS! lol It's my own fault for slacking so much this weekend.
Love Dire Straits
+MrCopperwheels fuck yeah man, Dire Straits are awesome
+Sam Vimes I like them, but Walk of Life is their worst song by far
hey jeremy, great review as always, just a pointer, the description says "World Trace Towers" cant wait to see this movie on thursday
Great review as always Jeremy, I hope you take another visit to Collider in the near future:)
Not only had I not heard of this event (like you) but I didn't know this movie existed either until your review popped up in my subscription list.
All of your videos manage to feel different to me. Idk how you do it, I never feel like you're recycling material. Keep up the good work, love your reviews!
I went to go see it in IMAX 3D last night and was very disappointed how empty the movie theater was like seriously there was only like maybe 8 people in the who theater. I loved this movie it was amazing such a good message about following your dreams no matter what.
+POPINCONEJO88 well they missed a spectacle, where they won't receive the same experience as to who went to the IMAX 3D screenings
+POPINCONEJO88 I saw it last night too and there were only like 6 people there. I'm like "Come on!" I know that the martian and sicaro came out this week too and get all the glory, but I think this movie was 100 times better! I feel like this'll be a more underrated movie now that everyone will watch the other 2 blockbuster hits...
DM lover i'd have to disagree, sicario was the best this weekend, sicario and the martian are both better movies than the walk, but the walk is the best 3D experience in a while and I don't think it will have the same spectacle impact going seeing it in 2D and RealD 3D.
DM lover sicario isn't really a blockbuster, it's a pretty small film, independent standard-wise, but the martian is a blockbuster
+DM lover you lost me at "this movie is 100 times better than Sicario and the Martian".........
Every review you do you're pretty much spot on. I haven't seen the walk but I do have a 3-D TV in a Blu-ray player so when comes on Blu-ray I watch at home in 3D
I saw the commercial for this while watching another movie in 3D and I seriously covered my eyes. The heights felt sooooooo real!
Love your reviews buddy!
Awesome review Jeremy! Stay cool stay safe stay awesome!
Jeremy, do you acctually buy the movies on Blu-Ray that you rate "worth buying on Blu-Ray"?
So if you want to see this movie, but you have an incredible fear of heights, you better steer away until that blue-ray comes out?
+Flashback007 no
+Flashback007 Well its a shame to not go see it while its on Imax, but I can tell you that it didn't healed my vertigo,I came out of this quite disturbed for a couple hours, but it was amazing, might go see it again.
Afraid that you'll fall horizontally through the movie screen into an alternate reality where you fall from buildings that haven't existed for 14 years?
Yea I guess that's legitimate
tmzissupergay Yes,its a very realistic experience.
Great review as always.
keep going jeremy your almost to 1 million subscribers.
I think you should check out 'Man on Wire', as its the documentary on the event and it feels so real with the actual Philippe Petit in it. By now its considered one of the greatest movies ever made, certainly in the documentary format.
I believe Jeremy will hit 1mill subscribers. Hell yeah!
I will believe it is worth seeing on Imax. But is it really worth buying on Bluray? If the best part of the movie is the third act in Imax 3D, how can you enjoy that on Bluray? Not everyone has an Imax theater in their home.
Awesome review Jeremy👍🏼👍🏼
Jeremy you misspelled "world trade center" in your description. It reads 'world trace center.'
But keep the good videos coming man :D
Great review, keen to go see this movie
I saw the documentary years ago, got the same feeling. had no ide what it was i was watching and it was amazing.
"You do the Walk of Life" that is going to be my new self-motivating talk i give myself when i need to get something done.
The first part I was getting bored. But the second part was mind blowing. But the first half was nicely done and it was a fast background on him. We all have story's on what got us to the place we worked or dreamed of going
Can you review Macbeth please? Love your reviews!
Nice review Jeremy :D
Wow. I really want to go see this now.
If you interest in the history, I'd recommend the 2008 documentary "Man On Wire." I'd only just seen t recently and then was happy to see that they were turning it into a feature. Can't wait to see it in 3D. Thanx!
As someone born in 1998, this story is how I learned about 9/11. There's a picture book based on the event and at the end it mentions how they no longer stand. I asked my teacher why, and she explained "Bad people flew airplanes into them".
Something about this episode made me imagine Jeremy doing all his episodes on a yoga ball... And now I can't unsee it
YES! another video from the best movie reviewer on UA-cam! Even though it maybe 2:30 am anytime is a stop what you are doing and watch Jeremy Jahns video time
It's actually very remarkable how Accurate this movie is.
They already made this movie called, The Wire. It is a documentary but they filmed the whole life and the high wire on trade buildings.
What's the song Jeremy was singing at the start?
Watched this on Sunday. One of the best movies of the year.
I think there's a typo in the description, World Trace Towers.
Jeremy you are the best movie reviewer on UA-cam
"I didn't know this story. I had no idea, because if you google 'World Trade Tower history' you don't get someone walking on a high wire these days. You just don't." LOL. Fair enough.
I rate this movie 9/11
Do you plan on reviewing the 2013 film snowpiercer?
Have you ever seen the TV show dominion, and if so what do you think of it
love u vids jeremy
You should definitely check out Man on Wire, it's the documentary based on the same event as The Walk, with actual insight from Philippe Petit and the guys who helped him to pull it off, it's a great documentary!
could you review the hunt jeremy ? i would like to know what you think about it
Hey Jeremy i'd like to hear your opinion on C. Evans's first movie as a director "Before we go". Can you do that for me?
Jeremy you should watch the documentary "man on wire". Its really good, it was how i got to know that story (it won an oscar i think)
and now im super interested in seen the film
I've seen this trailer for almost a year now. I'm glad it lived up to the hype that I had for it.
It's World Trade CENTER lolol I love your reviews!
That was really sad at the end where he read that he could use his pass "forever." His pause and frown was so subtle but meaningful.
This movie in 3D is just terrifying
the walk or the martian or spectre?(can only watch one movie every 3 weeks, watching sicario next week) please help!
"Alright let's get to the second half.." Lol
I can't be the only one that giggled when he said spectacle and testament, right?
Nice Review Man!
1:11 Haha, he said "tension." Ropes have tension. Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaah...
got this whitelisted on my adblock cause you are awesome keep it up
When will you review Sicario??Great review as always
What T shirt are you wearing Jeremy? Oh yeah...great vid as always thanks babe ;-)
"Man on wire", anyone?
Nope? Ok.
Nice Review Jeremy. Watch the Documentary Man On A Wire it's great just as this movie!
YES i really love you vids
Hey Jeremy big fan of yours, where is your review of BBC Sherlock series 3 my man?
This may sound stupid but how did he get the wire across if he had to sneak up the tower?
World Trace Towers?
+Real Nick World Trace Towers is incorrect it's the World Trade Towers
+Real Nick Jeremy spelled "trade towers" wrong in the description and Geo was pointing out the fact that he spelled it "trace towers", I presume you didn't pick up on it :D But the more you know.
+Real Nick that's like not true at all
+Geo Dota Its the real name for the Twin towers you know 9/11
+Real Nick 9/11 was an inside job...
Jeremy YOU ARE AMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!
What are the ratings he uses (Awesometacular, but it on blu-Ray etc)?
Buy^
[from worst to best]
Nothing (vortex)
Dogshit
Forget it in T-Minus
Good time if you're drunk
No alcohol required
Buy It on Blu Ray
Awesometacular
The trailer alone gives me that rising feeling in the balls and flutters in the stomach...I might die of anxiety if I saw it in IMAX 3D, lol!
I remember reading a short book a few years ago about this. I was thinking about how cool a movie would have been on that book like 2 weeks before I first saw the trailer. Creepy
Watch 2008's Man on Wire, it's a documentary about the real event and the guy who did this feat. It's amazing.
The documentary about this incident was great too it won the oscar for best documentary back in like 2010, it's called "Man On Wire"
You Jeremy are awesome
I loved it I had never been so tense seeing a movie as I was when he first steps out onto the wire and you see how far up he is. My entire theater held their breath at this moment with a collective "OH SHIT". One of those Rare movies that has to be seen in the theater in 3D/IMAX
Worth buying on Blu-ray, or worth buying "on IMAX"?
Saw the photo with you, Jon Bailey, Brizzy Voice, and her boyfriend Alex Benepe(former International Quidditch Assocation Comissioner) at the movie's premiere
good review man
The whole narration thing was in the documentary on Petit's walk. Basically everything in the movie was in the documentary.
What song is he singing?
This was an incredible IMAX experience.
Hey Jeremy, please do a review on Quantico, the new TV Series that has been launched this year.
