For me at work I focus and play into my strengths. Everybody has strengths and weaknesses and I work to improve both while Maximizing the strength part and keeping the weaknesses at a minimum on the job and apologizing when my flaws disrupt the job flow but knowing that I am human and mistakes WILL happen. When I play into other’s strengths and play their games……that doesn’t go well for me….I better not do that 😊
Tip of advice working in the department. Only lift with your legs and carry heavy items below your belly button using your legs. You really really don’t want a bulging or herniated disc. It will cripple you figuratively and potentially literally.
I’m with you, safety lifting first. Those departments tend to get a lot of freight and lifting improperly over and over again….not good. For me I want to get freight done quickly as it’s timed and management can be pushy at times but I slow myself down just a touch to make sure I have proper form as much as possible 👍💯
