I don't track it. It's often cold here and the PC is in a different room (which helps with not heating up the room its in) and there's 2 D5 pumps at 100% speed. The temp is probably very low.
@@paulosena5673 It's possible to enable it and also keep DLSS, however it crashes a lot and causes flickering if you have overlays / Shadowplay on, so I can't even upload a video on it. Should be ok if you don't use those. The way to keep using DLSS but also use FSR's frame generation, is by using OpticalScaler from Github. I don't recommend using FSR 3 from the config file. It forces you to use FSR as an upscaler, it is very blurry (ugly), whereas DLSS in this game looks like native. It's not even close. And here we see yet again why FSR is such a big mess. FSR 3.1 has been out for a while, yet developers keep giving us FSR 3 (3.1 is much better). I can't change the file myself, nor can I update the presets like I can on NVIDIA.
Interesting seeing how it's running for you I'm not seeing the crazy stuttering I've seen from others. Have you witnessed bad stuttering or not so much?
Sometimes it stutters, other times it doesn't. I didn't use the stutter fix mod in this video but give it a try to see if it does anything for you. I tried it yesterday and it did a lot for me - will make a video with it soon. www.nexusmods.com/silenthill2/mods/1?tab=description I used this one while testing it. i.imgur.com/nfDoo4N.png
@@Protege88 The next area after this one in the video had some stuttering (and lower FPS) in 4K. I had some outside at the start as well. They'll probably find a way to reduce them, seeing as people have already done it with mods.
@FrozburnYT Alright interesting because in the apartments is what i seen most of the stutters from others but for you the stutters seemed minimal. The frame time graph also looked good. So weird! Wonder if it was because you were playing in 1440p
@@Protege88 My overlay is set to not be too sensitive, so that way when it does stutter, you can see it. I can feel the medium bumps that you see, the smaller ones don't do anything (they're like noise). You can tell when it stutters even without looking at the graph anyway, it just skips. If you use MSI Afterburner's default overlay, the graph is way too sensitive, making it look like it's stuttering 24/7. I also stutter less because my PC is completely stripped with FR33THY's scripts, all Windows firewall / anti virus / realtime protection are disabled, including core isolation (which causes stuttering in many games)

i still cant shoose, buy 4090 now or wait for 5090 (i have 4080 now), and is it worth it
Since you already have a 4080 I would just wait. It should be out in 3 months.

this would be how i'd play on my 4080(with rt off)unless they add frame generation
Frame generation is suported by editing the engine.cfg file. Just search it up.
