This video makes me think of two things that I miss from Sorted videos: 1. Eye Candy (I know it takes forever to film, but they're so PRETTY!) 2. Mike's songs playing in the background (They're good and we miss his silver pipes).
In school we did the egg drop project where we were to drop eggs off the second story of the building in contraptions we made to see what would protect them. A half full bag of popcorn did surprisingly well.

I've only watched up to No.12 so I'm not sure if this will be mentioned later on in the video but the consistency of egg in No. 11 is a legitimate style of egg we eat in Singapore - we call it "soft-boiled egg" and it's traditionally made by pouring boiling water over them in an apparatus that slowly drips the water out (so kinda like the coffee maker but in reverse - drips away rather than drips onto). And we season the egg with a touch of soy sauce +/- white pepper, and eat it by dipping/mopping with bread/toast.
No! French toast is sweet and cooked with with cinnamon sugar and vanilla whereas eggy bread is savoury and just egg and milk then topped with either cheese or tomato/bbq sauce they're different things despite Wikipedia calling them the same thing
Aussie's have eggy bread too. Abd there's a thing called Hong Kong French today you can get in some places that's a deep-fried buttery delicacy, sometimes with peanut butter.
Before boiling your eggs you can tap the bottom to crack it slightly. Just slightly, you should hear a change in the sound. After boiling it'll be infinitely easier to peel.
James if you drop something oily on your t shirt use a drop of fairy washing liquid on it. It's for removing grease. 4:35 my dad used to make us that all the time when I was kid but the hole was slightly smaller.
for Easter we used to make decorated eggs, either paint the shells of hard boiled eggs or make tiny holes on the top and the bottom and blow out the raw eggs of the shells. then we used the white and yolk for cakes and painted the shells. also my grandma used to make us egg yolk stirred with a little sugar, so it was sweet and creamy, we loved to eat it raw when we were kids.
I really want to know what Ben said when he saw what they not only did to his kitchen but to the silverware. He really didn't look terribly happy. Don't forget the Chinese Tea Egg, the Thousand Year Old Egg and other exotic bits of cuisine like that. Also, did you know egg whites can be used to make a form of glue (not just in cooking) and I Think I heard some where (I Think it was Bizarre Foods) that eggs were used by monks to either starch or bleach their robes. You can also use the shells as plant food, coffee filters and lots of other useful non-edible things.
