Thank Q Third Day. Sweet Memories 4 Me. At age 10.. I sang this in a choir performance. Classic Style. I loved it so much when the Radio would broadcast the version that our beautiful Cat Steven's shared with the world. We are blessed. 🍀🤗
LOVE IT!!! It sure saddened me to know that Cat abandoned his inspiration for this song after God healed him of a great illness. I continue to pray for him, and REJOICE that Mac so beautifully revivied it with his gifted voice HALELUJIA indeed!
@lorluvbug Sorry for such a late post, but I just recently found this. He was such a talent! I wonder what hurt him so badly that he turned 180°? I pray for him as well. Y'Shuas peace to you.
Praise with Elation! Praise every morning...God's recreation of the new day. Thank you, Third Day, for restoring my love for this hymn. Old enough to remember singing it in church. Young enough to remember hearing the former Cat Stevens sing it on the radio. I remember thinking it would be a good fit for Third Day worship. Each day is a gift handcrafted by our loving Creator.
Great cut. I did no tknow that this full song was a hymm written by Elenaor Farjeon in 1931 from a traditional Gaelic Melody (from the album notes). This is the full lyrical version. It really pulled me out of a funk yesterday. God Bless. Sing Hallelujah!
Oh,yeah...Good ol' Tai... TD ain't same without him...I miss his fingers and spirit thar! But, life goes on...Godspeed brotha Tai, may God bless the new route you decided to ride! And yes...Maybe I am overly subjective when they are in the matters ... but this is one of the best versions of this ancient hymn that I was blessed to hear !!! Amazingly performed and produced as well!!! GB y'all!!!!
this is such a lovely song, I just heard it on the radio and knew it was you guys straight away although I've never heard it before - wish I'd seen you live, fan from the UK
Let's just let Cat Stevens cover this song, no ones gonna sing it or play it better than him. Not a bad version, I just gotta go Cat every time for this tune he puts so much soul in it.
Let’s sing this in heaven!
Definitely! 😊 xxx
Thank Q Third Day.

Doesn't sound anything like Cat Stevens.
I like this version best
I was the 1000th like! I love 3rd day, they are great live and know how to write good music (they didnt write this song though).
amo D+!!!!
wow!! excellent choice to redo
Nice, I saw Third Day in concert years ago. I never knew they did this song. It was a a good choice for a remake, one of my favorites by Cat Stevens.
Cat Stevens and Third day and some others says God
s recreation it's God's re-creation
@@cindygolden8989 Some of them say fresh from the world when it's fresh from the Word.
Actually Cat Stevens didn't write it, it was written by Eleanor Farjeon in 1931.
My favourite hymn at school!
one of my favorite song from Cat Stevens....
Brilliant rendition of a classic hymn -- even better than Cat Stevens'.
... where His feet pass.
Proper lyrics are "Fresh from the Word" not fresh from the world.
I like the words "Fresh from the Word!" rather than "World" but excellent arrangement!!!
What kind of music is this?
A Christian hymn, written in 1931.
Third Day should have known better. God’s re-creation of the new day. Not recreation

I don't think you got all words right. Might want to check with against the original lyrics.
