I've worked 6 years with cancer patients they're the most strongest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and treating. 2 weeks before Gaza I started listening to this song I started praying to God I started going to church I knew something was going to happen I even told a friend. This song brings me peace but I cry a lot. God is alive and well. I had a rare medical problem in 1986. I'm a walking miracle I should have died but I know my work wasn't finished and maybe it's this because I am putting the truth out there we're in trouble people we need help

Some people may not believe in Jesus Christ or what he did, that he ever lived . Let me tell you I am here to tell you, he overcame sin and death on the cross. I have witnessed His power more than once. I am alive, you are alive because He made it so. I saw my wife in the hospital thinking how will we ever get out and live to be able to go on living, but we did, not in our own power but by His. She had one of the most dangerous surgeries there is, and I was at first so afraid we wouldn't make it, yet through tons of prayers and asking others and believing no matter how hard, and believe me it was so hard working full time and then going to the hospital every night to take care of her, getting almost no sleep. We are home and working and living life. Praise God for all he has done. I don't know what you are going through and there is so much more I can say but I hope and pray you will turn to Him, God through Jesus Christ because He is the only way and the only one who created and saved this world from itself and there will be a new heaven and earth to come. About 15 years ago my wife an I went on a Klove Cruise and Third Day was one of the bands playing on board. The ship had devotions in the mornings and few people showed up and some artists would attend without anyone knowing it. Todd Agnew one morning, and one morning the guys from Third Day were present and asked what songs we wanted to hear. One lady made a request and Mac said "sorry mam we don't know that song, its not one of ours". I then said how about "King of Glory" boys, and he asked Brad "can we do that, and Brad said sure". It was an acoustic version and was beautiful. Being a Third Day fan I started requesting my other favorites. Mac was about 15 feet away points to me and said "hey this guy knows all of our songs. Excellent memories.

In 2012, I'm living on the coast and I can't find a job so I'm ready to move back home. Right out of the blue I got a phone call giving me whatever salary I wanted he said he had to keep me for this job it was in a cancer radiation office. He was with an agency he didn't take his cut he gave it all to me I spent six years with cancer patients and I would do it again in a heartbeat. One day I just got let go I still don't know why and I miss those people and I know they asked about me. God is real

Then in 1997, I was watching a video show, CCM MAG, lo and behold, Third Day-"Consuming Fire", I was totally blown away! They have been my band ever since. Of course all their songs are my favs, and yes, I know every song😀 But I must say that "King of Glory" is the best, the Lord has used that song to get me through some very tough times, the words just touch my heart so deeply, I have been physically, emotionally and spiritually healed while praising Jesus listening to that song and even one time while at a 3D concert! I love 3D and thank the Lord for them and their ministry and pray for them often. You can't write songs like that unless you are in God's Word and filled with the precious Holy Spirit and these guys definitely are! I'm 53 now and I'm still rockin! It was always hard to develop any kind of emotional attachment to "Jesus songs" growing up. I struggled with the veracity of His Word vs the actions of the people that preached it and harshly insisted I swear by it despite my internal debate and apprehension. This was always the one song that broke through. I feel nothing but passion behind it, through the lyricism and the musicianship. There is no ulterior motive here, no action in the name of salvation, none of that. Just pure love and faith in the Lord. No matter what anyone believes, that is to be commended. In the years since I first heard this song as a child, I've developed my relationship with Christ significantly, albeit unconventionally. The world doesn't matter, the way I was brought up doesn't matter. I will belt the lyrics of this song from the bottom of my lungs every time.
How do you interpret the quote? I have heard a few views. One is that the builders (Masons?) refused God as their rock and foundation and now is the cornerstone. Thoughts? I don't trust theologians taught by controlled divinity schools to push what they are told.

Third Day is one of my favorite worship bands. Simply beautiful!!
It was always hard to develop any kind of emotional attachment to "Jesus songs" growing up. I struggled with the veracity of His Word vs the actions of the people that preached it and harshly insisted I swear by it despite my internal debate and apprehension.
This was always the one song that broke through. I feel nothing but passion behind it, through the lyricism and the musicianship. There is no ulterior motive here, no action in the name of salvation, none of that. Just pure love and faith in the Lord. No matter what anyone believes, that is to be commended.
In the years since I first heard this song as a child, I've developed my relationship with Christ significantly, albeit unconventionally. The world doesn't matter, the way I was brought up doesn't matter. I will belt the lyrics of this song from the bottom of my lungs every time.
May God continue to bless and keep Mac's wife. May God continue to send His Word and heal.

How do you interpret the quote? I have heard a few views. One is that the builders (Masons?) refused God as their rock and foundation and now is the cornerstone. Thoughts? I don't trust theologians taught by controlled divinity schools to push what they are told.

Love how Mac sings the word... "Almighty" you are an amazing singer. Thank you for sharing your talents. Just discovered you a few months ago. I've got a lot of catching up to do...will be much enjoyable. I play this a lot in our home so my 19 year old will hear.
The prayer he hears in this song too. I do believe in my heart it's helping him on very hard depressed days.
Life is tough but I truly believe that the good outweighs the bad in this world. I've lost two siblings to suicide. Please if you're wanting to end your life, please dont do it. I watched my mother go through such a horrific loss. I feel I lost her too.
It's the most awful thing. The guilt she felt almost killed her.
Mental illness is NOT your fault. Please seek out help..a friend. ME!!!! I'm here if you need a shoulder. Dont be embarassed as some are to open up to someone.
Music helps me so much and trying to help someone else on my sad days. It helps you feel better.

As I was listening to this today, 7 years after the video was posted... during the prayer the lead singer prayed, I received great comfort and peace which I had not had for so long after a death in my family. Thank you Jesus.
