- Hours in the makeup chair got Walton Goggins most of the way to looking like the radiation-ravaged Ghoul. CGI took care of the rest, and thank God it did.

How did you like his appearance as the Ghoul?
The Ghoul is what happens when a mom tells her child "I got your nose" but then a nuke drops so she never got to give it back.
Walton took a nap on set in full make-up and scared the crap out of himself when he woke up.
The Ghoul must get a lot of dust going into his nasal cavity.
I feel like this is 10x better than the Hank de-aging CGI
Walton goggins is an absolutely AMAZING actor, I believe given the right movie he could for sure be an Oscar contender !
Great show and Walton Goggins steals every scene he's in.
Funny he mentioned Kris Kristofferson. Since he voiced Ranger Hanlon in Fallout New Vegas.
If you like Goggins, you need to check out the show, "Justified." You will love his anti-hero character there, too!
I wondered if they painted his nose out with CGI, it's pretty damn clever tbh!
he was amazing in Fallout, hopefully he wins an Emmy for his performance.
Googins nailed this part . loved the show , looking forward two season 2
at first i underestimate walton goggins makeup of ghoul look like low budget deadpool. but now after seeing the full episode series the makeup was more impressive than deadpool
I was stunned by how well they shaded the nose cavity, I was interested in seeing how well they did it and was happily surprised!
He was a brilliant choice for this role!
Dude deserves an Emmy for this role. Definitely stole the show.
Goggins really got the face for the TV
I'm surprised they didn't paint his nose black to make him look a bit more ghoul-like for the benefit of the other actors.
Clever but I can’t help thinking those teeth look terrific for a 200 year old with radiation poisoning
The Ghoul was an awesome character brought to screen. Everyone involved, from the actor, to director, to makeup artists, should be proud.
