So leaving them whole isn't a thing? I was just coming to see how to cut off the ends or where to start cutting the wood part off at but I didn't know you were supposed to cut the entire thing..
You can do what you like there is no hard and fast rule with any cooking.You can leave them whole and fry them with oil and butter.Cut off the woody bit first.
