The water and frying pan method is actually genius. I dont know why I've always assumed frying pans had to contain oil. I feel like that tip is gonna save hella time!
I didn't understand best, did he say that he went around them for 20 minutes and how many degrees? How many do you bake in the oven and to what degree?I just bought them and if you see this message please reply me as soon as possible, thank you, thanks
OMG! I just made this the oven roasted way! It was so absolutely delicious. I don't really know how to cook, so I looked up how to make fresh asparagus. Your channel is the first one I came too, and I cannot thank you enough. I will subscribe as soon as I finish this comment. When I was married my then husband did all the cooking. He was so good at it. I loved the food he made.I sure do miss his cooking. He left for a woman named Jezebel. (Yes, that is her real name) He ended up hating her, as I knew he would. I have tried to cook, and it isn't something I am good at. You should see my pancakes. I cannot seem to make them without burning them or they fall apart. It seems like my cooking never comes out the way the recipes appear. But, for the first time ever I made something really good. It looked good and it tasted good! I want some more. I put the Parmesan on top, and it looked just like yours! If my former husband could see me now. I want the world to know, I just made some five star asparagus thanks to your easy to follow instructions. 🎆🍽✨
Excellent : 1. drizzle with olive oil + salt and into oven heated to 400° fahrenheit for 20 minutes - - 2. remove from oven and serve on plate, drizzle olive oil, pepper, grated cheese
My wife always did the cooking but now days she is working crazy long days and is only off 1 day every 2 weeks SO here I go! Thanks for the video boing to try some of each ... I will buzz back with results later this afternoon
I always thought I hated asparagus.. I’ve just been preparing it wrong. I ate the butts and it was nasty. 🤢 thank you for the video! Now, I know I like asparagus!
That screech on the plate! Aaaaah!! And what's your favorite way of doing asparagus anyways? I like to sauteé it with some nice olive oil and crushed garlic.
I noticed that you have exactly the same frying pan that I have. It has a non-stick coating and you probably don’t want to use a metal utensil when cooking in it.
Good job! Thanks for making it so simple. One question: aluminium, especially when heated, causes cancer. What can you replace that tray with? Any baking tray would do?
Thank you for this simple presentation how to cook asparagus.....Love your recipes!

Good video
Also will be checking Google to see if my chickens can eat those cut off ends
Chickens will eat almost anything. You just have to cut them up into small pieces for them.
C'mon, we're all dying to know, how'd the chickens get on??
Can I microwave asparagus? How long ? Add water or olive oil?
How long you cook it for on the second way
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
That screech on the plate! Aaaaah!! And what's your favorite way of doing asparagus anyways? I like to sauteé it with some nice olive oil and crushed garlic.
Great tip, in where to cut and the oven method. Thanks.
I noticed that you have exactly the same frying pan that I have. It has a non-stick coating and you probably don’t want to use a metal utensil when cooking in it.
Too high a heat and too long in the oven they come out soggy and limp. I’d say 350 for 10-12 mins, maybe 15 mins if you have really thick spears.
Good job! Thanks for making it so simple. One question: aluminium, especially when heated, causes cancer. What can you replace that tray with? Any baking tray would do?
Everything causes cancer. My advice, stop worrying about it and enjoy your life.
Glass tray?
A regular baking tray or a caserole dish will work just fine. Or, as @mimosa27 said, glass!
Thank you 🥰
Temp? How long?
Like to try, what is 400f on gas.
It's gas mark #6
@@FoodChainTV Thank you.
what watch is that u have on
It's a Breitling colt skyracer.
Could anyone please refer me to where I could learn how to make smoothies using the asparagus butts?
That would make a really bad tasting smoothie! But I guess if you put enough ginger and lemon juice, it might be passable.
Thanx. 🫶🏼
What about steaming asparagus?
Dinner is served xo 😘 💋
To be continued 👍
💘 watching ur video
Thanks for watching!
@@FoodChainTV u welcome
Tnx
How to reheat the asparagus?
Is it necessary to use olive oil for aspagus ? Can other oils be used as sibstute ?
You can use any oil, really.
Butter! Butter makes it better 😊
Thx so much
Thanks for watching!
That's like one serving. . . I have 8 people at my house . . .I usually buy six bundles. . . and ALWAYS make Hollandaise Sauce.
I’ve been overcooking asparagus my whole life🤯
Very Helpful. :)
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Do you need to peel the asparagus????
No, you don't need to peel asparagus. You just need to cut the overly-fibrous bottoms of the asparagus off.
Very nice and easy, Thank you for sharing! And I have a question what is 400c? because in my Oven 250c is the highest.
Set your oven to 400 F (204 C)
Thank you ❤️
Thank you!
I take the ends of asparagus I cut off and plant them in my garden. I have several asparagus trees that are doing great.
When I put them in the oven they come out soft and mushy
Cook for less time.
What about skinny asp, pencil thick
Waw
I thought maybe one of your methods would be steaming.
Thank you!
❤
