Axios reports the Bureau of Land Management (BLM---how's that?) is facing dire consequences this year and if Trump wins the election, things could get quite bad for her. Axios reports that 'Republicans may be looking for a 180% turn based on the questions asked in the hearing.' First consideration is the public lands rule giving equal weight to conservation and energy and mining on bureau lands. They have also targeted the bureau's decision last month to end new coal leasing in a basin that produces half of US coal. BLM under her leadership lost $81 million in 2024 and Republicans can cut even more from the budget, which could be a very real threat. Lisa Murkowski is pushing to 'cut BLM's budget at least until the agency realizes that they've got to follow federal law.'
So they have taken action against her and intend to do more. She should be smart enough to realize that she is on the hot seat instead of trying to fall back on a tired old and worthless script.

I grew up in Idaho near the Clearwater National Forest and was a teenager during the tree spiking. It was a huge deal. College kids would come out from the east coast on summer break and try to disrupt logging by spiking trees. I now live in northern Idaho, surrounded on three sides by USFS and BLM land.
I won't say all the logging practices in my youth were all good, we've learned a lot since then and some practices were detrimental (clear cutting in particular). But, since the forests were a source of revenue for the government they used to manage them. Teenagers could get on crews in the summer to help clear fallen trees, clean up dead branches that have fallen, plant trees, and burn slash piles of what was cleaned, etc (side note; yes they even had rakes to rake the forest). The forests were managed because the government made money from them.
Come out and I'll show you the forests surrounding us now. They are natural but they are certainly not healthy. They are no longer managed and nature isn't allowed to manage them in it's usual way. A 5" diameter tree will have 45 growth rings. They are massively over crowded and stunted as they all compete for water, nutrients, and sunlight. There are dead fallen trees everywhere, millions of tons of dry wood on the ground just waiting for a fire. Fires are inevitable in this area due to lightning strikes. There are dead standing trees everywhere, the shorter ones being ladder fuel that takes any fire up into the canopy. There are huge areas where you are surrounded by dead small trees so thick you just put your arms in front of you and push to get through them. Nature has a way to restore the forest, it's with frequent low heat low fuel forest fires. Frequent forest fires means the fire burns low, not getting up into the canopy. It clears out the smaller trees leaving medium and large trees. More small trees then grow until the next forest fire. Those that grow large enough to not have a low canopy survive the fire. This repeats endlessly. Now they don't manage the forests then put fires out leaving millions of tons of fuel on the ground and standing, just waiting to make the next fire worse. This is why the forest fires have gotten so bad in this area. Look at the data on forest fires. They were the lowest ever in the mid 80's, right when they started shutting down logging and the resulting forest management, and have been getting worse ever since. We've learned a lot about logging and forest management. Where we live it's not a matter of if we will have a massive forest fire, but when. This area could be managed responsibly but BLM has changed from protecting the land for the people to protect the land from the people.
You should hear my story about how I had to get my congress man involved because BLM told my I couldn't use a road on my land that they have an easement for. The lady literally told me they owned the road as well as the trees 50' either side of the center line of the road. I couldn't use the road ON MY LAND but anyone else could because they were "casual use". Anyone who knows how easements work, we are granting them access to our land, not the other way around. The easement clearly said I had right to ingress/egress and the trees, minerals, etc. are mine. There's a lot more to this story as it took months to get through...but I ended up paying $2500 to be able to use the road for 20 years. The $2500 was for weed and pest mitigation they supposedly perform. It's been three years, they haven't been out once. So in reality, they knew they were in the wrong but they got $2500 in a shake down for me to use a road on my land that anyone else can use for free.
I don't think there's a government agency more hated in Idaho than BLM and that's saying a lot as there is plenty of competition.

So, tree-spiking to stop logging, but now she's totally up for clear-cutting vast areas of wilderness to build wind towers that could easily be built in the desert.
These nuts also don’t give a crp about the oceans either. Many whales are dying from the ocean based windmill build and operations. When building the pylons, they use an ocean floor penetrating sonar mapping that is wrecking the lives sea life. Then, when operating, there is constant acoustic noise that continues to kill. Collision bird deaths are also a problem. This is terrible on all fronts and there is very little reporting. Screw nature, build the eco death machines. We can build nuclear reactors that can recycle decommissioned fuel rods to create electricity and greatly deplete the remaining radioactivity of the material. It’s ridiculous to not use the technology. I’m not a fan of wind turbines, on the farm level, because of the disruption of natural, ground level winds. In a desert, this would be a disaster.

This woman was a green tree, biker, driving nails and steel in the trees so when they’re cut, it hampers a structure that tree unfortunately she had been involved in incident where person was certainly injured. She should never been appointed to a government position. She lied about this in her application so that makes it right only the eyes of the radical Democrats, this woman is an environmental tourist. I don’t care how young she was what she did it. She worked out in agreement. She did a Old agreement and she should be kicked out and not ratified. As a woodsman for 46 years, i heard about spiking and read their forest terrorist manual 30 years ago. They also attacked logging equipment like putting sugar or rice in radiators, fuel tanks, sand in motor oil filler ports, nails in tires, spiking key starter or door locks, cutting brake lines, etc. Even if she had a spike in every orafice, shed still be butt ugly.
