I just ordered my Moen Flo impeller yesterday, while doing my annual maintenance on my water supply and filtration system. Thanks to your channel for the insightful information on these products. Looking forward to seeing what you do next Margarete.

Good deal! I've heard that you might get 4 turbines along with the o-rings--I've been meaning to call in and double check because I didn't get that feeling from the customer service gentleman. I'm curious to hear what you get in the mail. Thanks for your continued support!

Digging your channel! Ever think of testing/making filtration videos? Chlorine and chloramines are leak causers. So many places shilling filters but no one showing real measurable results. I'm about to install a 20 inch big blue, as they are universal, and experiment with different brand filters, hopefully remove my chlorine, not just aesthetically. Actual measured results.

Thank you for the genuine compliment. No, I can't justify having a system that is going to bake outside. Our water comes in through the bedroom wing and having replaced the water main in the front yard, I don't have another trenching project in me to cut across the front yard to the garage side. Your setup with water access in the garage is so much more convenient for filters, softeners, whole house water monitors--I am envious. On the positive side, forced sun exposure makes these tests hardcore and it shows what the products can and can't handle.

@@NoMoreLeaks ahh i have seen people take those plastic sheds you can buy and notch out the backside and use them as enclosures outside for water systems. But i see what you mean, awkward place to set it

Apologies for missing this earlier. How did your big blue install go?
I very much appreciate your thoughts and reply! Yes, those sheds or any kind of shade structure would be nice, but my house seems to have a pretty bad layout for plumbing. The corner where the plumbing comes up the front of the house, turns the corner and goes in the wall is right along an RV gate, which is extremely narrow. I can't put anything in the side yard unless I want to run an extra 20 feet of plumbing to a water system and then back another 20 feet. I really do wish the plumbing and electrical were flip flopped (electrical got the garage), but that's just another lesson learned for how to pick a house next time.

@@NoMoreLeaks went well, i opened up the wall in garage and tee'd into my pex main and put one 4.5x20 inch 5 micron carbon block. Zero chlorine detected now. Had .5- 1ppm prior. No pressure loss whatsoever either. Next I'm going to install one of those bulldog valves on the ball valve on my bupass loop and a bunch of yolink sensors in the home.
