The car goes straight every pass so we don't worry about it. Done 100s of wheelstands but this one went further than most.Short shift to 3rd it will come down everytime. I now have a wheelie bar on it but its under the bumper and it still pulls huge wheelies but it will not go past 200 feet anymore. Thanks for watching.
That almost made me cry. Loved it. One of the better in-car camera vids due to the 1st to 3rd wheel stand. Like the angle too. Full driver foot to helmet and full windshield shot.
That is crazy driving skill! Great job. And to all the haters with the thumbs down I'd like to see you try that! I bet most of you have never run the 1/4 before.
@@americanpride9733 Watched many GOOD drag race videos. The pass was shown more than once, once in slow motion from inside and outside the car. Then in the pits the car got a walk-a-round and the engine was shown along with some info from the driver about the run and some details about the car and engine. THIS WAS A REAL HALF-ASS VIDEO.
When the car came down from the wheelstand my wife lifted off the throttle ,checked the rearview mirror for smoke and never put the throttle back down on the floor. She said she only had it half throttle through the traps. That wheelstand was UNexpected as usually it sets the wheels down after the 1 2 shift! It shook her up a bit but she drove the car very well. lol
She has done that a lot of times and has confidence in the car or she would have bailed on that. Great run, I’m guessing 10 second car? Awesome run, great driver.
That passenger window is a good example of why lexan windows need latches in that front corner, if they catch enough air they'll pull the whole dang door off. Great driving too!!!
Gotta love a lady who can drive like that! Amazes me how straight the car leaves! She is obviously very comfortable in the car. I noticed that she clicked it into 3rd a little early. Is that because it was going over?
Reminds me of young gal at my local track. She drove SB 69 4 spd Camaro. She would tree most drivers and lift the wheels just like this. It was fun watch a stick car in sea of automatics.
I WATCHED THIS SEVERAL TIMES... BRIBGS TEARS TO MY EYES WITH EXCITEMENT, IM YELLING AT MY PHONE....." HOLD IT, HOLD IT " AS IF SHE CAN HEAR ME...HAHAHA. FIST PUMPING ADRENALINE RUN THAT WAS....WOW... TOTALLY SICK
track workers that make people wait like that piss me off. they do that crap to me i shut my shit off and make them wait on me. that was a crazy wheel stand.
Damn she’s a bit insane for not wearing a helmet seat belt. We call them Hans/hybrids. If you crash without neck restraint or Helmet seatbelt. It will rip your brain into the base of your skull. I had a 178g crash in 1999 and woke up 3 weeks later. So when I returned in 2000 I had to wear one. It causes anxiety at first not being able to move. But I can think of 10-14 friends that would still be here had we smartened up earlier. For those interested the airbags in your street car is a head restraint along with the head rest. We kept having slow speed fatal mvas so they were mandated with misinformation about what they actually do. When the torso is belted to the car. If the car hits the wall. Your torso will decel with the car, but your head will continue forward at speed until the spinal cord pays out and catches your skull via your brain. It yanks the brain into the skull when it happens. I had a friend crash from blowing a front right and literally blood, brain matter, spinal fluid was boiling on the floor Pan/floorboard of the race car when I got to him. We had been running an 1hr+ so the exhaust had heated the interior to 150* F or so. But I’ll never forget that smell of blood, brain matter, spinal fluid, bone marrow boiling. So you wish you would’ve tethered your head once you experience a heart break.
Be nice to know where this track is, it is a long way back to the pits and seems to use some unused highway. Also what was the ET and MPH, don't think it is 1/8 mile.
Nice stand...that return road looks like it's in the middle of the Grand Canyon. BTW, I would have shut my car down at the beginning - no cars in front of her???
I would have a hell of a lot more roll cage in that car for that kind of wheel stand. I would also be wearing a flame retardant suit and gloves as well with a full face shield.
Found it THANKS!! HTL7680 .629/.633 3600-7500 Drag Strip.Very light dragsters or big displacement stroke. I think it is a bit much for the client, will downsize. What does the car weigh in at without Lisa? I love the pexi. and the door openers! Are you related to this fine racer?Either way you BOTH are my kind of racer!!!
before she even pulled off that awesome 2 shift wheelstand, I knew I liked her when she was shaking her head waiting to do her burnout... lol. This girl is bad ass, someone give her a Pro ride! she'd send everyone home in Rd. 1
I do not know why this showed up in my feed today but 11 years later it is still impressive. Nice run! Excellent driving!
Showed in my feed today.
Impressive !!
Mine to! Damn! What a ride high gear before the front wheels touch! Somebody better check her for Kahoonies!
12 years later for me... Impressive wheelie!
Agreed, that was bad ass , and you can tell she’s true racer cause she shaking her head cause she went slower cause the wheeley. #ballsofsteel

Much respect for staying in the gas. You have that car setup right! 👍👍

I love how you are so relaxed and "at home" behind the wheel. Great job.
That is crazy driving skill! Great job.

The haters are just jealous, as soon as they saw the sky they would have shit themselves and backed off!
I dont see any haters
@@americanpride9733 I hated waiting for more in the video after the 10 second pass.
@@badron9245 On a 8 minute video you can assume youre gonna have to wait a bit for the pull to start, just skip around

Awesome!! She has my utmost respect. My wife is all inspired now and wants to take my 10.5 car out for a spin:-)
For those of you as impatient as me, it happens at 2:19
vanpenguin22 thanks 👍
Then 6+ minutes waiting for .......what? Could have taken the camera out in the pits and showed us the car and the motor. Piss-poor video.

very good driver she doesn't panic. you can see her look left to the wall and stays in it
Every time I watch this, I am amazed.
That’s a Dodge Dart 🎯. And She is a bad ass!
Awesome ride, awesome job of driving!! Thanks for the submission!!
Nothing but sky for a minute there.Loved the way the car fired right up.

Very high level badassery! At night races she uses the stars to navigate down track
Hats off to you!!!!! Spot on great driving!!!!
Now THAT’s what I’m talkin’ about !! .. Wheel standin’ while gear jammin’ .....

That’s about as smooth as you can set er down, nice driving! Would love to see a view from the sidelines of that wheelie
Watched this many times over the years. Outstanding 🍻🤘
that was one hell of a return road!.....the wife nailed it by the way!...great job!
Wo Mama! I got scared when all I saw was sky. Nice driving! That shut down was cool!
Wow, she's like "It's just a wheelie, what about it?" Nice run!
Looks like a well set up car. Arrow straight launch

Lonewolf3165 - More likely to keep the engine in max torque range to help soften the landing a bit. Regardless, a sweet launch with a solid driver.
That was awsum to watch, you ROCK.
DAM! that camera angle had me thinking she was going to catch the wall
Wow! Nerves of steel! Awesome
Get it Ms. Lady !!!!
wow amazing setup and excellently driven ..
bad ass set up. you go girl.
Roller cam? What size? What rear gearing? Tires? Width & Highth ?This is the best small block yet!

to most of you "girl power" chicks, this will disappoint you, but this woman is NOT a wanna-be man
Sweet run, you are braver than lots of other drivers. Would like to see you wear a fire suit.
Once in a while Lisa "Lets" her hubbie "Steve" win ! Both are great racers!
Appears to have satisfactory traction at the launch...

Hats off outstanding skill and must know the car inside and out
Its 2 gears.
Still bad ass.
But let's be honest.
That looks fun!
Why you short shift into 3rd? Better get some spray if you want to compete with short shifts and hard landings.
Its atomic..nice run lady..❤
That was badass.
Check the window frame, wild
What kind of car is it?
That was fucking sick
What kind of car is she driving? It never showed it.
73 smallblock Dodge Dart
Good stuff!! Love the last name..
Is it automatic or manual?

Did you glance over at the wall @ 2:18? If so  not a whole lot are disciplined enough to do that!
