I actually have a field if them by my house so I just cut a few .. I’ve seen them at the flower mart in downtown LA before but I remember them being pretty price .. like $13 for a few stems

Yes, I like that too. I'm a designer and instinctively know the elements that play into that aesthetic, but it's nice for you to articulate it for those who need a little step by step guidance and just to lay out an "outline" of things to incorporate into a particular style. While there are certain elements that your friend loves that are not my jam, such as snakes, skulls, etc. I thought you did a great job! I am doing the exact same thing right now, a total makeover on my best friend's (from years ago) new digs. I am having so much fun blessing her with an apartment that she is going to absolutely love! All with treasures I have collected for decades, from thrifts stores, Flea mkts, yard sales, dumpster dives, etc, and it is going to look like a million bucks...a dream Parisian pied de terre! So much fun!! Wish I was better at this utube stuff, I do things that are original and have lots of ideas for budding shoe string designers that love a high end, curated, artistic vibe! Kudos on your fabulous projects!! 👍😉!

Haha she had several already but she definitely wanted a lot .. I never take the tags off until the person I’m designing for sees and loves everything 🤗
As a pillow lover myself I know they add up quick but they really do make a huge difference!
I don't know where they live, but here...even the cheapest pillows are an average of $50 each....11 pillows x $50= $550. Half of that isn't in most people's budget.

I LOVE these ideas. My daughter just left for college two days ago and I have an empty nest to decorate BOHO, yay! I'm creating a Zoom room and my bedroom. I love your gallery wall, spray-painted containers, DIYs and textures and the hanging plants. I I already have alot of things in this style and my mom's artwork from the 1970s, but felt stuck. Now I'm so inspired - I just got some velvet pillow covers from IKEA and I chose my color palette: rosy pink, dark red, dark wood and touches of gold. Thank you MaCenna!

This is amazing, I love it so much. Growing up in India, I always had love toward wood furniture, so we had dark wood bed, dresser, side tables in our master, and bright walls, I literally don’t know how to decorate it, this gave me idea, now I can dig in to this urban boho theme, your designing is really really good. When everyone going with modern, mid century modern, all the room makeovers of other youtubers are so, I found your channel, and god I can say I love u, your style, your designing, your DIYs, ok back to checking more videos on your channel. I love that you upcycled alot of stuff and went to thriftstores to find items. I do have to say I love that you did boho cause alot of youtubers usually do minimalistic and have not seen alot of boho inspired rooms. I think alot of them are afraid to play with color but love it!!!

What blew me away in your two part series here was your ability to draw your ideas out on paper in a beautifully clear way. Can you please do a video with advice on how to do these for other spaces??

The art wall worked well for me. Painting the frames was a great idea. I also thought how you planned the hanging by using cutouts first was a great idea. That whole corner works well and love the over all look. Your a really good designer.
I really LOVE the fact that all these actions are easy, and with such beautiful result! I have a gallery wall in my living room (never knew it had such a name, I just hung some of my own paintings and the paintings that my friends did), and now I see how to make it look more bohemian - different size frames, white borders, spray paint for matching color, - thanks for the idea! Love your style, and so nice that you actually give names to those Classic Bohemian vs Urban Bohemian styles, this is exactly what I love and try to reproduce in my apartment :)

The instruction of Boho elements styles.. very appreciated. AAAND, I actually felt I could DO this, and you gave me an idea when I saw the ottomon. The heavy chest of drawers.. gorgeous, and I loved the baskets, the colors and the TEXTURES.. That dark green gave me a new appreciation!

Those tires DIY are everything. I will make that. Love the urban bohemian style.
What a lovely transformation and use of the walls. I especially loved the tyre makeover, or do you day tire. Also a special mention of the lampshade, simple idea but wow, and the walnut stained dresser looked absolutely beautiful. I have a lot of pillows on my bed and find them annoying after awhile, so I wouldn't be keen to have that many in my room again.
The art was my absolute favorite and I’ll be trying that tire idea. Great video!

OMG looks amazing! The colors all work so well together. I've been really struggling with figuring out which colors work well together and which don't in my boho room. Every time I buy a colorful piece I end up returning it and getting a neutral instead. Love this room!

Gorgeous transformation!!! The only thing two things I would suggest that are really minor but caught my eye is to clean or paint the door and change the light switch plates.

Great job!!! Would've liked to see the duvet in a sage green or that terra-cotta. Oh and, take her old black throw with tassels and either fold it and put it in the pillow basket or, like you did on the bed, drape it at an angle over the backside of your/her tire table just basically under the lamps and books. Other than that, GORGEOUS!!!

I struggle with form over function, what looks good, wins. The pics close to the bed could be seen as an issue, but I really love it.Everyone in real life seem to hang everything too high~except for curtains, that seem to be hung too low. I loved the placement of everything. I love the Bohemian look~having arrived to it by way of shabby chic. I like the jewel tones so much!! Some of the styles overlap, or they do with me...wondered if you'd do a segment on how to do chair, recliner, couch covers ~for non-sewing folks and how to do fun lampshades? You seriously rock.

Thanks for this eyes opening video. I always wondered how to put up a picture gallery properly and now I know what to do with all the old frames I am keeping in the basement. Also the introduction to Boho style and shopping items for the room was helpful. Only there’s a lack of shopping opportunities where I live.

also, my living room is totally a bohemian vibe, i love it!
It gave me the idea to cover my easy chair with neutral type fabric in some natural sisal/burlap kind of fabric. In fact this room is so pretty I think I will go with a natural bohemian theme. Originally my concept was rose/taupe shades with brass... but this is more playful.
