I love inside Track now! I bought the two year Mem for $45 about a year and a half ago. Paid the mem off with first purchase! Love ITC and love your Channel, Jeff!
I let my ITC lapse years ago because I don't have a store in my town and its inconvenient to drive to the store in the next town. After seeing this video I renewed it for $29.99. Then I bought the Universal Band Saw Stand which was $30 off with ITC. ITC paid for itself with that one item! Then I also got the Icon 35 piece flexible ratchet kit which was $15 off with ITC. I still have another 364 days to use my ITC! Thanks for doing these informative videos.
I literally took a screen shot from your video back in June and put it on my electronic calander so I can be there before doors open to load up on the Apache cases I’ve needed.
Oh yeah - I'm gonna get me those Icon wrenches. I've been eyeing them for about a year now and 129 just couldn't justify it. But almost 50% off? Holy cow!!! Can't wait!!
I made the mistake of putting my fingers between the magnet and a piece of metal exactly one time before I learned to NEVER do that. Not as bad as the ONE time I touched my mother’s hot clothes iron…
I'm not a huge fan of their gloves. Costco has an amazing deal on nitrile gloves that are on instant rebate. They are some of the best nitrile gloves I've ever used.
i own 1 snapon F80MP because its the most useful ratchet ever made when you actually need it, but other than that every ratchet I have is icon and they do everything the snap on does.
I decided to "risk it" last year and signed up for inside track. I really already had most of what I needed, but signed up anyway. It's honestly surprising how many benefits they come up with for inside track members. Totally worth it. I even signed up for the 2 year membership for a discounted price.
I would STAY AWAY from the Vulcan Welders. I had one and the mother board went bad. Was outside of the return period/ warranty. I called Harbor Freight and spoke with a product specialist. Confirmed the problem. Harbor Freight could not get any parts nor could they direct me. Corp Manager told me my only option was to throw it away and buy a new one. Makes a great $1000 paper weight.
If the rotary tool kit hasn't changed you can use a 12V lighter cord to run it from a car or a jump pack. sometimes you need on where you don't have an outlet
Hey thanks for your videos. Definitely has helped me save money. I’m in the market for a Jack, Jack stands because the kid is going to buying his first car and I figured it’s time to show him some basic car repair stuff like brakes and oil changes. I gave away my Jack and Jack stands years ago when I was issued a work car and haven’t had to fix my own car in years.
I got my series 1 5 drawer cart 5 years ago for $130. The only difference is the lid doesn't open to 90° and the port for a power cord. This was also when they only came in red, black & blue. Last year I hung the drawer cab that is made for the bigger rollcab on the side. A couple cuts with angle grinder is only mod needed.
we absolutely NEED more additions to the Hercules line. I use strictly Hercules power tools as a professional plumber, and man what id do to get things like a cordless rotary hammer drill. If anyone has the influence to push for more Hercules it’s you and the other big tool reviewers. What we’re really lacking right now in my opinion working in the trades is: - compact rotary hammer (cordless and corded) - storage systems (I know Bauer has one but Hercules I feel could use their own line made to compliment their own tools) - And more trade specific tools. If we are supposed to rep Hercules tools, we need more so we can stick with them. I’d kill to see things come out like a Hercules Pro-press tool come out. Or for the concrete guys, a Hercules tie gun. Or for the framers, a Hercules cordless nail gun. These are professional grade tools? Well we need more profession specific tools. I love my Hercules, they make great products and I have had my basic set for quite some time now (since the new 20v impact driver hit the market), I absolutely rave about them. However I would like to have more than a drill, driver, sawzall, circular saw, and flashlight. I’m aware there is more than that but I simply don’t need anything else that they have available right now and even if I did it’s more basic tools like grinders and sanders. HERCULES PRO-PRESS WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER FOR THE PLUMBERS ROCKING ON A BUDGET!
The best deals I feel are the Icon wrench sets (which are phenomenal) and the Absolute winner of the best deal is the 6" Doyle vice for FRIGGEN $150!!!!! This is a Heavy ass monster of a 6" vice especially in today's Bench vice world. I have this 6" version in my basement workshop on a pedestal and I have the 4" version in my Reloading room on a bench for gunsmith jobs. I use 1/8th angle aluminum for soft jaw covers on both setups. Outstanding price for this 6" ductile iron Doyle vice.
I can vouch for the 1/2 impact sockets. I’ve had them over 5 years and they’re stilling strong. I use them for changing tires and oil changes regularly.
The grants red shop towels aren’t like the old shop rags you’re used to. They are very good! They don’t leave red lint and are very absorbent. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!
My wife and I have a Class A diesel pusher. We use the Harbor Freight wheel chalks for it. I absolutely love them. And they are a super bargain compared to the RV stores.
I enjoy these videos. I am really excited about the upcoming Bauer benchtop jointer and 14" band saw. The silhouette of the bandsaw looks like a more modern design with a larger cutting capacity than the Central Machinery. I look forward to videos on those if you do them.
Just got home from the store! I got the 5-drawer cart in blue, and the Portland pressure washer. Also got an Icon swivel head ratchet, and a bunch of the smoked lens safety glasses to use as disposable sunglasses at work 😂 I really wanted to get the Hercules miter but I just couldn't justify it based on the stuff I need to do right now
Just bought 2 pairs of the 3-ton Daytona jack stands: one from the area where they are normally stocked and one pair from the promotional stack-out at the front of the store. When I unpacked them I discovered one pair was less robust than the other. The saddles were narrower and the saddle finish was rough. The "Pads for 3-Ton Jack Stands" fit the beefier pair but were too large for the less robust pair. Both sets were labeled identically, but one pair was clearly inferior. I returned the one set and brought one of the more robust ones with me so I could show them the difference. We opened up another box from the promotional stack-out and it was also of the smaller dimensions. A bit worrisome.
I went by today to try to get a deal on an open box item. Maybe I misunderstood what you said about the liquidation sale, but two employees said the prices wouldn't be any lower than they were currently marked.
I was there when they opened today, and got the band saw stand, a Bauer angle grinder (the ITC one for $23), the meme tool and 2 of the $9 spray guns. Going to use 1 for a primer gun, and one for some cheap paint so I don't need to use my good ones. If you don't know what the meme tool is, it's the locking flex head ratchet and bit set that seems to always be sold out. The last sale I got an open box Bauer portable band saw that had nothing wrong with it and a Black Widow spray gun that looked new, for 40% off the open box price. That saw was around $80 (IIRC) and the gun was $105. My ITC membership was well worth it.
Harbor freight used to be a single use tool store but over the last decade they have really made some damn good hand tools. I still avoid anything that cuts.. drill bits, saw blades, etc. also any battery powered tool but I’ve heard they have improved a great deal in that department but I think most people will stick with their brand of choice like dewalt.
I suggest the icon pocket knife, it is sharper than knives that cost 4 times its value… people in the knife community are all pissed off saying it’s a stolen design… I had to get one and it’s amazing !!
Love Tekton, but I use that Icon 3/8s flex head almost every day. I used that R/O polisher on boats for my detailing business for a year. It's loud and hurts your hands, but is great and a fraction of the cost of a Rupes
I wish i knew what you did on the icon ratchets. I may live in fantasy land but i wish harbor freight could start making their own stuff so we could see some more usa made tools. Even if it was some acetate drivers. I know theres been a small push there so thats nice.
I'm subscribed and didn't see it. It seems that unless I'm searching Harbor Freight related videos, I don't see Den of Tools videos. I'm seeing this in my feed Saturday night, right before the end of the sale.
big pelican snub.. have a ton of peiican cases. Hands down those apache cases are super worth the money.. One only negative is the foam isn't as good. little on the low density side so its not as firm and it falls apart little easier but One thing you can do is after you get the shape cut out. you can spray adhesive the foams together to prevent them from breaking apart. the outside is more than rugged enough for anything you would use a pelican for.
Plasti-dip in a spray can... spray the foam after shaping it, not only does it lock everything together, it seals the porous surface of the foam from acting like a sponge.
I’m grabbing the $25 jack stands. Solid deal there. I’m gonna grab me every icon ratchet I don’t already have. I already have the meme tool but I will grab another. Doing all this after I hauled some stuff from hf from the 25 off 100 not too long ago
I bought the newest Milwaukee fuel 1/2 impact wrench for $400 for the whole system. It hurt then but if you need a “real” impact that will remove anything 99% of the population can throw at it. Buy it!
The icon bit set with sockets was shown at SEMA and I’m betting it starts around $65. IMO no way they get rid of this current version, so still a spectacular buy at $25. Will be gone by the weekend though get your ITC gentlemen. Going to grab that, a gold 1/4 icon, and the anti slip wrenches today. Hope the wife forgives me lol
Yeah don't put them in your washer/dryer, it will clog them up. Those red rag variants have probably been around since the 1930's and need to disappear, they're a one-time use and only good for spills. Don't ever use them on a vehicle.
So just going to say, I went to HF today, picked up a few things with my itc club... those impact deep well sockets. The manager was at the register.. hay can I use my 30% discount on this one item. Bing bang boom any item under 30$ and not itc discount got the 30% discount normally It is one item a day... so today alone full cost vs my itc discount. 165$ discount got me under 75% so yea 1 day payed for 2 years.
My big savings deal, was during the last Liquidation Sale. I got a Gen 1 Hercules Ultra Torque, it was on clearance since they came out with the Gen 2. It's clearance price was $119, got 40% off which took it to $72, plus I used $40 in HF cash back money... Dropping it to an amazing $32!
Those new gear wrench Quinn ratchets to me are better than the icon ! They are amazing for the price . Guess what if it breaks go swap it for a new one!
My membership expired in late July. I'm trying to make it past Black Friday without joining. Maybe it's good that everyone else gets first dibs over me the first 5 days of this sale. If they're out of stock by the time I go, think of all the money I'll save. My last use of the membership in July got me a returned 26 gallon ultra quiet for $136. So, my tool lust is satisfied for a while.
I went on Monday and picked up nine (NINE !!) Icon ratchets, the Icon bit driver set, and two 8ah Hercules tool batteries. The 8ah tool batteries are 50% off in the Bauer deal. Last week I also picked up the Hercules impact driver kit plus the bonus 4ah battery, and got the Hercules extended anvil 1/2" impact gun(for the short time it was on deal) plus the 8ah battery (impact $160 + battery $100 = $100). I think I may have a Harbor Freight problem.....
@@josephberg2329 A few of my ratchets walked away so I had to replace them...... plus I filled in a couple holes where I didn't yet own any swivel heads, So added them. I just couldn't pass them up for 40% off.
Last time I looked, HF power tools had only 90-day warranty. Other brands at big box stores offer minimum 1 year. Except for battery failure, most problems will appear within the 90-day window.
I bought the icon knife today that everyone is talking about and the store employee told me if anything ever happens to it, like me breaking the tip off to bring it back for free replacement, don’t even have to save the packaging….pretty damn good deal imo…
Honestly the gloves are actually what I’m most excited about. I go through a box a month. Some months two boxes. That’s around $15-30 a month on gloves. That’s $180-360 for mfing gloves buying 24 boxes of gloves now saves me a lot of money.
Just picked up the Hercules high torque impact wrench and 8amp battery the other day after watching your deals of the week video. What a great deal at 99.99 for something I was planning to get anyway to go with the 3/8 impact from Hercules which I’ve had for six months or so and is fantastic! Thanks for your videos or I might have missed this deal!
I made a bike trip to HF today. I bought a Braun 175 lumen magnetic light + flash light for $4 and 3 more itemes with %20 as a member. I love HF, I go there almost every week. Thanks for the video, Sir. Subbed.
Worked at a shop with floors like the moon, old one lasted until a exco-worker dropped a 10spd truck Trans on it. Outlasted tool truck creepers by years. New one going strong with new shop floor is smooth. $20 may justify spare, have to check out the flex driver and bits,Stanley discontinued favorite set and nothing is better for dashes and tight spots
Several of the things I picked up not long ago when they had that stacking coupon I used on the 1st will need to be returned because they are on sale much cheaper on the parking lot sale. I'll go in and make sure I can get them at the lower price, then return the stuff that had the higher price since all those items have not been opened yet.
Hello, Mr. King; RE: red shop towels, if yours are shedding red fibers then do what I used to do. Take them to the laundrymat, wash & dry them, & that'll remove most if not all loose fibers. I discovered this when I washed some dirty shop towels at the laundrymat. Shazam! The towels had a better texture & didn't shed as much. WIN! WIN!
I actually used some red shop towels and threw them in the laundry sink. When the washer drains into the sink the red towels get prewashed. Then ran them thru the washer and hung to dry. No lint!
Bear since you mentioned the predator v twin vertical shaft engine, can you put your detectives on where it went. Haven’t seen it in about 3-4 years. I need an affordable replacement for a zero turn with a bad Briggs. Thanks for the great videos
I stopped in today and used that 30% off coupon to grab a 2 lb pack of electrodes. Worked out to about $3/lb which is the cheapest I’ve ever paid for any type of rods or wire
You picked up that air duster and then you look down to pick up a piece of paper and then it cut a Google commercial with a fluffy Chow dog whose mane was blowing in the wind😂
I love inside track, I got my first membership for .01 more cause they let me use the discounts I earned that day and pay the difference…..that penny was the difference
With the amount of ads and sales I’ve been seeing from HF recently I’m starting to wonder if they’re starting to feel the pinch of the economy and need to boost sales.
On the ratchets, the 1/2" icon ratchets are really great. As good or better than my Tektons. The 1/4" and 3/8" are not better. Their backdrag is way way too high. Much higher than my Tektons.
Damn, I just bought a jack and jack-stands like two weeks ago. I could have saved some money if I'd waited. But sadly I really couldn't wait anyway. I had some brake work to do on my truck that just needed to get done. That said, I only bought one set of jack-stands. I could use a second set, so... Hmm...
Heyyy Den I know a little inside info on harbor freight and icon that you might know also but we really know the reason they are selling the ratchets at 40% off . Just wait ✋️ Icon everything will be going cheap before January 1st 🤔
Be careful with the 5 drawer cart. It took me about 10 minutes to fill it and wanting a bigger box. I got a great deal on the series 2 small rollcab when the series 3 came out.
I love inside Track now! I bought the two year Mem for $45 about a year and a half ago. Paid the mem off with first purchase! Love ITC and love your Channel, Jeff!

The long magnets are excellent for holding a tarp in place when draped over a car.
I made the mistake of putting my fingers between the magnet and a piece of metal exactly one time before I learned to NEVER do that. Not as bad as the ONE time I touched my mother’s hot clothes iron…
Saw the icon limited edition gold plated ratchet the other day. Bust out laughing. Got some funny looks!
Actually, with the amount of gloves we go through, 50% off IS exciting! 😊
Glove prices skyrocketed after covid!
I wish the nitriles were not powder-free
@@chasedyer5950 During covid. After covid, they crashed for a bit due to overstocking, then went back up to a bit above pre-covid prices.

I'm not a huge fan of their gloves. Costco has an amazing deal on nitrile gloves that are on instant rebate. They are some of the best nitrile gloves I've ever used.

Fun Fact: The Founder and CEO of Harbor Freight, Eric Smidt is said to have a net worth of 10 Billion U.S. Dollars.
That's Billion, not million.

If they're out of stock by the time I go, think of all the money I'll save. My last use of the membership in July got me a returned 26 gallon ultra quiet for $136. So, my tool lust is satisfied for a while.
I picked up a 3500 generator for 60.00 5 years ago on a Sunday when they did 90% off of open box. It was to big for the customers camper compartment
So are they making a new Icon ratchet to combat the Snapon Cynergy? That would be sweet
Ever since ICON and Pittsburg Pro came out. They have my business.
I meant Hercules deal, not Bauer.....
Why so many ratchets?
@@josephberg2329 A few of my ratchets walked away so I had to replace them...... plus I filled in a couple holes where I didn't yet own any swivel heads, So added them. I just couldn't pass them up for 40% off.
@@SmithFarmTilton I picked up the Icon wrench set. Both the SAE and metric and the "MEME" tool as well as a creeper For $20.
Last time I looked, HF power tools had only 90-day warranty. Other brands at big box stores offer minimum 1 year. Except for battery failure, most problems will appear within the 90-day window.
Hercules brushless tools have a 5 year.
I bought the icon knife today that everyone is talking about and the store employee told me if anything ever happens to it, like me breaking the tip off to bring it back for free replacement, don’t even have to save the packaging….pretty damn good deal imo…
Lol Donut catching strays haha
I watched it in june back again for a refresh
Oh boy, gotta add icon ratchets to my ratchet collection
I got an Omnipro 220 open box + 30% off for $405 back a few months ago. That thing fucks.
I got the gold plated 3/8" ratchet for 40% off. Probably the most ridiculous tool I've ever bought but I wanted it. :)
Spent $250 ( before tax)
Saved $167!
Wow!!! I was wondering how I could possibly fit more cheaply made Chinese garbage in my garage. Thank you!!!
Hope you’re not subscribed to torque test channel. You’re gonna find some unfortunate news there.
I made a bike trip to HF today. I bought a Braun 175 lumen magnetic light + flash light for $4 and 3 more itemes with %20 as a member. I love HF, I go there almost every week. Thanks for the video, Sir. Subbed.
I wish the icon ratchets where good but they just aren't the lock up then free spin there horrible the pitsburg ratchets are wayyyyyyy better
Low profile creeper for 20 bucks is pretty good.
I have a second so my son can work with me. And as a tool trolley when solo.
Several of the things I picked up not long ago when they had that stacking coupon I used on the 1st will need to be returned because they are on sale much cheaper on the parking lot sale. I'll go in and make sure I can get them at the lower price, then return the stuff that had the higher price since all those items have not been opened yet.
Going to snag that mechanics cart. 😊
Guess I should have waited for this sale
to buy that case
30" pedestal fan is a good deal at $99.99. HF now wants $159.99 for it at regular price. 24" shrouded fan is still $139.99 at regular price.
Hello, Mr. King;
RE: red shop towels, if yours are shedding red fibers then do what I used to do.
No lint!
Whats your thoughts on the mcgraw stand up 20 gallon air compressor? Kinda blew over it
Bear since you mentioned the predator v twin vertical shaft engine, can you put your detectives on where it went.
With the Quinn rachets being 3* arc I wonder if the next icon will be 2.5 or 2*
I cleaned them out of the folding chairs
You picked up that air duster and then you look down to pick up a piece of paper and then it cut a Google commercial with a fluffy Chow dog whose mane was blowing in the wind😂
I love inside track, I got my first membership for .01 more cause they let me use the discounts I earned that day and pay the difference…..that penny was the difference
Need to have lawnmower seats built like the Murray seats 😊😊😊😊
I'm a coal miner and we use alot of icon tools in the mine I work at. And they are pretty tough
Finally scored the Icon flexhead at $25. Always seemed to missed out.
With the amount of ads and sales I’ve been seeing from HF recently I’m starting to wonder if they’re starting to feel the pinch of the economy and need to boost sales.
I did a video on it a couple weeks ago. 😂 Guess I get to do a couple more
I’m after the wrenches and maybe the stubby ratchets
On the ratchets, the 1/2" icon ratchets are really great. As good or better than my Tektons. The 1/4" and 3/8" are not better. Their backdrag is way way too high. Much higher than my Tektons.
Damn, I just bought a jack and jack-stands like two weeks ago. I could have saved some money if I'd waited. But sadly I really couldn't wait anyway. I had some brake work to do on my truck that just needed to get done.
That said, I only bought one set of jack-stands. I could use a second set, so... Hmm...
Do you know when the 2000lbs transmission jack will be back in stock?
Got the Predator 3500 for $329.82 from last day blowout. Great deal. Thanks HF.
Heyyy Den I know a little inside info on harbor freight and icon that you might know also but we really know the reason they are selling the ratchets at 40% off . Just wait ✋️ Icon everything will be going cheap before January 1st 🤔
I was debating to purchase Capri combo wrenches but after seeing this; I’m now grabbing a set of Icons!
i’m eyeing the 5 drawer tool cart.
Be careful with the 5 drawer cart. It took me about 10 minutes to fill it and wanting a bigger box. I got a great deal on the series 2 small rollcab when the series 3 came out.
@@domosautomotive1929 it should hold me over for a couple of years. hopefully… lol
5 drawer cart isn't a tool chest it is a daily tool mover. It doesn't go in the cart unless you have to go get it from your chest more than 5 times.
