hey Aaron, been watching your videos as much as i can over the past year and i went from fishing 1-2 days a week to any free chance i can i spend on or near the water. i wanted to thank you for inspiring me to get out more, and when i cant, being able to escape the world and get to see another part of florida through your eyes.
Very good my friends, God bless your family. I watched you propose. That will be precious for your kids and grandkids. I can not believe your wedding is just around the corner. Enjoy every second, your life will accelerate from this moment forward. Thank God for every day and say thankyou you are Blessed.
Can't get enough of your videos. You have got such an artful way about that resonates in all of you action, from hunting to cooking, to the way you relate to your loved ones. You're a good person my friend, proud to be a subscriber.
Hey, Guys, congratulations on the wedding date.... I was thinking Garlic Soy Asparagus would go Awesome with that. Olive oil, Garlic & Asparagus spears in sauté pan. Cook over Medium heat. For a few minutes. Add Soy. I use enough to just coat the bottom of the pan. Cover & steam till cooked to desired tenderness.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Cool video as usual, you mentioned that the corals seemed to be regaining some of their color but geez most of them still look really bad. Fingers crossed they heal up and survive.
When I used to spear fish SW Florida it was often very very murky, learned to Id a legal length mangrove snapper by the size of the eye ball pretty quickly. That clicked into my head when you said you can tell by the size of the lips (or tail)
Those cartridges looked bigger than .50. Those small cannon cartridges make nice bookshelf knickknacks, looked like 20mm. That meal looked AAA+. That’s one of my favourites, especially when asparagus is available. Nice job !
At 15:18 you can see the fish just left of your flashlight as it moves further into the coral. Good instinct, you were right on it! I'm leaving for the middle Keys tomorrow, can't wait! Keep 'em coming!
Stellar content! I enjoy and appreciate your experienced explanation of the process. Fascinating really. I never realized the stalking effort required. I raise my glass with respect. Be well.
I’m like you. I can’t stop looking at the water when it’s close by. That’s why I want a bathroom with a water view. You answered my question about using a pistol in those spots. Thanks for always teaching us.
Congratulations! Y'all are getting married on birthday weekend, which the 5th. Don't forget the sweet rice at the reception lol. The fish looked great.
Wonderful hunt and excellent skills on display. And even better harvest and cook. That meal is about as fresh as anyone could hope for. Nice very good!! Aaron.
I hope after your wedding gift thingy on line. You can get you one of those fancy outdoor kitchen set ups with grill and oven/flatop griddle set ups.....Tight lines !
Another great video Aaron, a lot of lessons shared, including the cooking! Being a picky guy from Italy, would just have minor corrections to your risotto, but you basically nailed it. Congratulations, great fishing and great cooking, as usual! 🐟👨🍳 💪
@@gomertube 1) the arborio rice should be salted well in a pan separately without any condiment, 2) wait to pour the rice into the onions until the onions are well browned out, 3) add white wine rather than lemon, 4) the final "mantecatura" requires butter and real freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano, 5) You won't EVER see an italian put together a "primo" (the risotto) with a "secondo" (the grouper). That grouper filet was perfect . So white...prestien! Bet that rice was rich!!! I would love that on a cold wet day! That's a couple steps above comfort food! Well done CHEF!!!!
Great video. Liked seeing you so persistent with that grouper. Guess that’s how you got Mad lol. She looks just like her mom. Also loved the cat gracefully falling off counter after jumping. Also those look like .50 or foreign 10mm* rounds
Way to stick with it till you got that grouper 🤙 Coincidental I had asparagus and eggs just before I started watching your vlog 🤷 Madeline and her mom could pass as sisters. Can't wait to get back to the islands and start catching fish again. Cheers

Holy shit bro! Pardon the swearing but damn fine day! Those are few and far between Farso!!! Madeline cracks me up ! Gurl always ready to eat!!! Ha BTW is her mother single??? I remember commenting to you long, long ago that you need to marry that girl. So...here you go 11/3/23. I wish you and Madeline many years of happiness, good health, and fortune!
Your livin the dream. Been following since about 12k subs. I think. Now your at 156k, wow. Thanks to you, ive gotten tangled in spearfishing. Shot my first black last week there in the keys. 31"
Aaron, just wanted to share with you that I’ve never heard of braining and bleeding fish until your videos. I grew up fishing for trout and have never seen or heard of anyone doing either of those things snd…I’ve never liked the taste of it much so I generally catch and release. Well, on my last camping/fishing trip I decided to use your method and give trout another try. I brained (you can guess what barbaric method I was taught), I bled, I left on ice until the next day, then I filleted and pan fried and genuinely enjoyed trout for the FIRST time in my life. And so did my skeptical wife. Oh how the flavor mellowed! Thank you so much for that wonderful gift.
@@adamyoung480 boy, does it! My heart has always been broken that the one fish that’s always plentiful where I live is the one fish I could do without. No longer!
I have to say that your channel is one of my favorites. So many others I follow doing fishing videos turn out to be arrogant 💩s.Thank you for being such a mellow straight forward guy.
It has to be a dream to walk down to your boat in that beautiful natural cut. No traffic jams or crowded boat ramps with so many people who have no boating manners. Having to fight all the nuts everytime you want to fish is almost a deal killer. Peaceful bliss to you and Madeline!
Another Fantastic video Aaron! You told Madeline you got "lucky" when you came up with that grouper, and and the ages old saying goes "I'd rather be lucky than good anyway," but the fact of the matter is...That, this was the Absolute best example of "Hunt and Stalk" I have have ever seen! Good on ya mate! Thanks for sharing. Congratulations to you and Madeline also! 🎉
