I got my Enduro 2 yesterday, and got it all set up, its great! You were 100% correct, it does NOT do HRV with its own sensor quite yet, it would require an external chest heart rate sensor. I hope they will add that feature in a software update soon.
@@danielvargo4498 I love this watch after living with it for a few months, I do not regret my purchase at all! Honestly the Fenix 6X Pro is really nice for the money though, it has 90% of the features for 1/2 the price, but if you were already considering a Fenix 7 series, just spend a little more and get an Enduro 2.
The futur of watch is a little phone on our wrist! I hope that Garmin add cellular fonctionnality LTE or inrich mini option into the watch on the next Génération! Also a recorder audio and speaker will be great!
Great review! I looked at the info on several websites and it looks like HRV is an included feature on the Enduro 2, for sleep and training readiness. Maybe I am missing something? I just ordered one today from Garmin with Next Day Air, can't wait to get it tomorrow! (EDIT: the review was 100% correct, it doesn't have the capability for HRV without an external heart rate chest sensor)
Thank you! I'm sure it measures HRV, but it doesn't give you any info on it like the Forerunner 955 does 😄 HRV is probably part of the way it measures body battery and training status stats. As for training readiness; I'm not sure. 🤔
@@pacemaxpro The screen on the Epix is incredible. Much easier to read during activities. However, battery anxiety is there. I have almost run out of battery on long runs if I don’t go in fully charged. I also think the Epix size is better than the 7x personally.
@@eriktred Exactly. That's my big fear with the Epix 2... batter anxiety. As someone who does endurance events, it makes it a no-go for me. Sadly. Cuz the amoled screen and watch size are PERFECT! As it is, I recently bought a 7X sapphire solar. But, I may return it for the Enduro 2 for the even better battery live and brighter light.
I'm surprised no one ever mentions the low ppi, the lack of smartwatch features, and no automatic workout detection for the price. Not to mention their lineup of other watches that have 80% of the features at half the price ☺️
1) low PPI comes with that fantastic battery. Garmin do an epix gen 2 or venu series for AMOLED if that’s what you want 2) it’s a fitness watch and not a smartwatch 3) auto workout is a pain in the ass and does not belong in the fenix or enduro series Bonus 4) this Watch isn’t for you

@@stevea1089 Thet just enabled HRV on the beta software update! Now this watch really has it all!
My enduro 2 has all the features from Forerunner 955?
Hey bro how do u like the enduro 2 is it worth the price

I have both but I like the size of the enduro 2 with the flashlight I use it all the time

Nice review Max 👍 I have the epix 2 and I love it. Coming from an Apple Watch I love the extra vibrant screen
The Epix 2 is indeed an epic smartwatch - shame I had to send the review sample back to Garmin!
Is there calling and messaging option in this watch?
Great review
Thank you 🙌
I own the 7x and epix2 (gift). The lines are indeed getting more blurred between the high end models.
Gosh, you're well-equipped with Garmin watches! Which one do you prefer of the two?

They’ve updated to HRV and Train Readiness so whole lot is on it now.
I know! If only these were available when I reviewed the watch...
Hello, is wrist-based heart rate measurement accurate?
