Equally matched armies usually hang about the same level of hurt on each other over the long run. A battle may be lopsided, but an entire war rarely is.
but we're not talking about an equal match now are we? russia's has the whole range of options in every category and they produce it inhouse while ukraine has a mixed bag of old international equipment in small quantities with large holes in their equipment capabilities and 1/5th the manpower to use it. dont care how much spirit they have that kind of imbalance has an effect on the conventional battlefield. especially when the field is flat and open with no place to hide.

Are you for real? In the catastrophic "summer offensive" Ukraine lost aprox. 125-150k soldiers. In ONE campaign alone. The ukrainian losses are well over 600k at this point. Russia has lost about 250-300k. Despite all the propaganda Ukraine is losing more soldiers every day. Thats why they forcefully conscript/kidnap any man they get their hands on. Even women are drafted for month now. Thats how desperate the situation is.

he might be talking about rockets but its not rocket science. one look at what ukraine went into this with and what russia had going in and its clear which way this was always going to go. and no i dont think ukrainian supermen were able to change the ratio's with toy drones on flat open terrain with nothing to hide behind.
