I miss groovy dust, it used to be pretty easy to get at freak outs and happenings and before electric koolaid acid tests we used to have dust tests but they always devolved into mud wrestling once the koolaid was added. Anyway you just can’t find a good supply anymore, you know? I saw the Sudz once. It was early in the scene, at a Dust Test in the Mohave, it was a trip, I mean you couldn’t tell the groovy dust from the regular dust so we were all just rolling around in the dessert and the suds came in with truckloads of koolaid and well yeah, it was a scene for sure. I don’t know which one of the Sudz brought the bubble bath but I guess it was inevitable. Man, The Sudz. Brings back memories for sure. Those were the days my friend, I thought they’d never end, kind of like this comment you may think is n
Fun Fact: Groovy Dust wasn't outlawed by the US government until 1968. A hippie chemist named Aleister Wowley had a clandestine lab that supplied the West Coast with groovy dust after the clampdown. He also developed a sound system for the Sudz that left the audience ears tripping for a week after a show.
@@conradholt23 its great! I think I saw the Sudz reunion show at "Dusty Dayze" festival in Sefton park 1987, along with the Ooloncoluphids, the Wibblywobblymen, plus the Stone Roses and some of the La's. But I could be mistaken!
Excellent freakout Psych Out garage tune ...imdeed it blows my mind !
That sleave design looks very much like Cream's Disraeli Gears.
