You should definitely add that vanilla outposts expanded mod because it lets you build mining outposts, hunting outposts, artillery camps, etc
Yeah tho tbf it fits more with the previous empire series tho you can actually set up arms manufacturing sites with that mod IIRC which fits so well and yeah having outposts for resource collection is a good idea either wwy

Once more I just have to say it. I know I said it in the first episode. but I love how you slowly have the tech go up in the series. from the very humble weapons we had in the first series. to having present day weapons now. it makes me wonder just how 'far' you will take the tech. and more so. I wonder what the *end* game of the planet will be.

I say name it the “Tortoise” or “Desert Tortoise” as there are some that are native to the desert, slow, and have a hard shell. It would also fit with the animal theme you’ve got going with the APC.

You should get some kind of just general covers(walls etc) inside the walled area as just general cover so that your troops don’t get mowed down and you don’t have to hide behind the more important things.
I forgot to comment on the video where you built the prison doubled door system, but personally I like to use the remote doors from doors expanded, it makes it so you can link up special metal doors to a button that when you press closes and opens them from another location, I like to use it for prisoner control, and usually I place the button in the research room since there is almost constantly someone in there

for the escape tunnel you could also have the backside be an emergency garage to store a vehicle that has some emergency supplies etc in it and it could be your "bug out car". So the turrets slow the attackers down and you load your people up and take off.
If you expand out the walls around your Geothermal Generator you can turn it into a full on power station surrounded by batteries. Just make sure to leave a hole in the roof for the heat to escape.

Set up camp can also be used to camp along a road to search for the larger wrecks of vehicles that you can then rebuild, bring home and build more if need be. Like a military 6x6 hauling truck that can carry more stuff to sell, or a cargo helicopter to do the same. What kind of warlord doesn't have a helicopter?

You could create a heat chamber to defend against raids(create a mostly closed space with a tone of headpieces to kill people with heatstroke.

Tbf wooden hedgehogs (those tank traps name btw) would probably not do much as most real ones are made of metal bc wood is easily crushed by a tank so probably a good idea to upgrade them when you can
