Tower & Rescue 1 Responding - Orlando Fire Department

In this video you will see Tower 1 And Rescue 1 Responding. This is a rare catch due to the fact that a tower is responding to a medical call (an engine call) but due to the fact that all the engines were out of service the tower had to respond

All of OFD's apparatus are ALS, advanced life support, staffed. Meaning if the engine is out and there's a tower at that station, the tower and closest unit will respond. You should check in to becoming an explorer with OFD or Orange County.

Orlando’s towers run a lot of medical calls. They’re still ALS staffed.

Yes all of OFDs engines, trucks and heavy rescue are manned with 4 personnel. With at least one being a medic
