Okay so at [ 11:42 ] when he says his favorite charge cards were the business plum and gold because it gives him 30 extra days to pay it back. Does that mean if he just pays regularly every month at 30 days then that's him basically paying it early as in like two times a month or no?

I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon with my Prime Rewards credit card. Since I get 5% cash back on Amazon purchases, and 1-2% on other purchases, I usually earn about $70 a month in cash back.
Also, I never pay interest because I pay off my balance the minute the transaction clears (every 48 hours on average).

There are levels to the credit game. The guest play the game at a higher lever. Things like manufactured spending, travel hacking, etc…You can have a platinum and not understand certain aspects of the credit game. It can get deep.

Regarding the liquidating credit card limit into cash using Melio via your friend's merchant invoice, your friend would have to pay tax on capital gain from the cash they'd received from Melio for nothing. How would you go about that? the cost of borrowing money is then became 3% + tax on borrowed money. I'd like to know the after story.

I don't think any bank is giving an auto loan without verifying that you actually bought a car. Navy federal will turn that auto loan into a personal loan with all the interest of a personal loan..if they don't receive the TITLE in 30-90 days. It's a loan so the bank will require the TITLE the car belongs to the bank until you pay it off. If u can flip the money before the bank starts harassing for the title then by all means go for it.

I had a horrible time with credit cards in my twenties. But in my 50s I'd become an expert with cash back cards. I get about $300 a year in cash back and I use it for fun stuff that I would never normally purchase. I rarely use my debit card because it has no benefits and it has less protection from fraud.

Very interesting interview, the gentlemen in the green shirt is arrogant, needs to come down a few notches.
