Welcome to boat yoga 101.. probably rain water ..look sniff finger tip dip taste . It might be leaking drinking water.
Start with the through hulls .. and the engine.
You will have fuel and gas, and water pipes as well as..the dreaded grey and black water wate pipes from your sinks and head.
Cocpit drains need to be clear and check they are not leaking water into the hull.

Ah yes, I know exactly that feeling of confusion! I bought my Catalina last season and am only now getting to tracing and labelling the wires - it's extremely difficult because many of the wires disappear behind inaccessible spots. I'm happy that all of the electrical actually works. Also slowly changing the hoses - dreading to change the sanitation hoses!

@@SailingPytiss I sail out of Lake Ontario in the Toronto area. I sailed out of Vancouver (Heather Civic) from 2020-2022 - amazing sailing area, but the moorage situation was unbearable
