They are just too perfect so proud of the growth they had in 2020, best thing to come out of that year, and they're already destroying 2021. So proud of them all.
Handong's growth as a performer is just amazing, I think being away from the group for that time gave her a chance to massively improve and her solo album gave her a massive boost in confidence. "Sub-vocal" what position is that? we only have lead and main in Dreamcatcher.
SuA high key(no pun intended) snuck in to be another main vocal level threat after Boca. Gahyeon's vocal ability has come a long way, she gained the breath support that she needed to really go at those notes.
Dami..... Just.... WOW, have always loved her voice, but that bridge really shows how much she's improved as well so much more stable during her singing parts.
JiU is right at home in the Lead vocal spot, she doesn't have that belting ability like Siyeon, YooHyeon or (now) SuA, but she's always been consistent.
YooHyeon and Siyeon, They were already pretty much perfect, I'm almost certain that Yoohyeon could hit Siyeon's belt during the final chorus, or at least do it justice in her own way.
These are just my observations as a non-music professional. I'm sure someone with a lot more knowledge than me can explain it better.

JiU can belt tho, try to check out Red Sun
JiU can belt though. She did it in Red Sun (she also sings few powerful lines during Chase Me-Goodnight era). It's just that her soft natural voice is better used the way it is used now, so the job of belting high notes is left to the others.
JiU can definitely belt, shes still a bit better than SuA technique wise
@ZoKi True. SuA's voice suited more for belting in their songs (her voice is captivating though). But overall, JiU probably has better control. But SuA has improved in so much in her vocal since their debut, it's insane!

Handong and Gahyeon's confidence has improved SO MUCH since their debut and you can hear it in their incredible vocals! QUEENS
What I like about their vocals is that it’s not dull. Yes, all of them have great vocals but it’s the tone and color for me. 7 members have flavorful vocals so they can make a song 10x better.
definitely agree! there's loads of other groups that have very great vocal technique, but their vocal tones and delivery are bland af. praise dreamcatcher for having the best of both worlds

Mamamoo who is probably the biggest GG not from the Big 3 have only two albums that surpassed 100 000 sales, just like Dreamcatcher. People might not realize how much of an achievement that is. Even Red Velvet sell about 150 000 copies of each albums and EPs they put out. So if Dreamcatcher albums continue to sell this much with each releases, this makes them some of the greatest girl groups in terms of sales. Their singles might not do well on the korean charts and they might not have a first win, but as of right now they are one of the most well established, respected and successful girl groups in Kpop. They are for sure in the Top 10 most successful girl groups of the 3rd Gen.*

I hope Siyeon’s voice doesn’t get too tired from all the high notes she’s been doing :( she always nails it though and that’s on being THE main vocal out of a group of 7 main vocals hehe
high notes should be fine as long as the technique is there to support the vocal chords and since she seems to have incredible technique her voice should be safe
she is a rock band vocalist for 5 years i'm sure she is a professional in this
