Bruh not being perfectly skilled in term of technical doesn't mean they can't sing, there's so many aspects to see in order to determine a person's ability in singing, big F to those who says the otherwise and trying become a random vocal teacher here

i think it's not falsetto but rather the bg vocals as u can see siyeon did her note but she ended it early but the bg vocal still continue that's why it looks like they cant sing... Hope they remove that so we can hear only their voices and not the whole overlapping situation
Also doing falsetto is not a bad thing, as long as you do it well, not everyone can make it sound good, siyeon make it sound heavenly, because she has enough technique to control her voice very well and her vibratos are incredible
