  • Lightroom Classic Start to Finish B&W Tutorial (using the new B&W Profiles)
    This one is for Intermediate level Lightroom Classic users on up - it moves at an intermediate speed and level, and assumes you already have a pretty good working knowledge of Lightroom's Develop module. We're going straight from the Raw image and create al high contrast B&W image, and we're starting the process using the new B&W profiles in Lightroom 7.3 and higher.
    If you're really serious about learning Lightroom, go to kelbyone.com and you can start watching and learning, right this minute for as little as $9.95 a month - you'll be a Lightroom shark in no time. :)

    I've been using Lightroom for years. Black & white is a favourite medium. Just watching how you started by dropping the Exposure slider to bring up the sky changed my B&W processing for ever. Just goes to show you that when you think you know it all, Scott Kelby comes through. 👍👍

    Excellent video. Exactly what I needed. I was having issues making my B&W images pop, but this video cleared up all those issues. Thanks!

    Thanks Scott Kelby. I had the same problem and managed to make my Black and White Images look awesome in the sky. Something I didn't think was possible in Lightroom.

    Great tutorial, but the golden rule is don't change bad colour photos to B&W to try and make them good. Take Good B&W photos and make them great!

    Nice and clean. Thanks Scott.
    Question: Will it make any difference to apply the profile correction before you start the editing process?

      I would say yes and there is a reason it is now the first line of the Basic panel

    Great little tutorial on one of Lr's new b/w profiles Scott! Thanks! (I also owe you a thanks for your one of your early Learn Lightroom books, I think that book was for Lr V4.)

    Hey Scott, any idea why when using my crop tool it’s not showing immediate results, i.e. when I move my mouse to crop it takes a moment to actually crop, this has only been happening since last update of CC. Been asking all over and no answers yet that help. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

    why did you crop the image when you could use the constant crop button ?!?!

    • @andreas.farsch
      @andreas.farsch 5 років тому +1

      You want to crop the image manually to have control over where the edges will be.
