Loved your pantry tour. Also, am starting to cook from your new book. It is a fantastic book! Hey, I have an idea. What if you place a thick Sharpie pen in one of countertop drawers. That way you can label the top of your cans that you place in your bottom can drawer pull-out. Cheers!

I love that pantry and the label printer! That label printer especially, it’s very cool! As someone with an English degree, I’m really trying to understand the trend to organize books by color, especially if the point is organization and finding things easier. How do you find your books if they’re arranged by color, and not by genre or author or alphabetical? I’m genuinely curious, I’m not being critical. I’m asking as someone who organizes by genre (the way libraries do) and would have no idea how to find each book by the color of the spine.
It's just a design aesthetic. At least it is for me. Back in the day, my ex-husband collected VHS movies and I organized them by color. It was really interesting to see that comedies tend to be white covers and action movies were black. I also organize my clothes that are hanging in the closet. This is super helpful, especially since you tend to dress by color coordinating an outfit. :)
aksmith129 I also organize my closet by color, for ease of finding things, but my DVDs are also organized by genre for the same reason... ease of finding things. I do group similarly colored DVDs together on the shelf if they happen to be nearby. I hadn’t really noticed the general colors by genre though.

Do you sanitize the box or products before you bring it in your house. The bacteria and virus lives on surfaces. Also the box that was on top of your table. Very nice kitchen organization. Love your videos. Stay safe.
I was thinking that too. After opening the box I would’ve washed my hands before touching the pantry stuff. Pandemic- can’t be too careful.
