Welcome back to another episode of Southern Ethos Life: This week, we are going off the beaten path to explore Red Top Mountain State Park in Bartow County, Georgia. We previewed in our previous video, "Into The Woods We Go" . We will show you some recommended RV sites, tent camping sites and the water views we discover.

When we little and grilled or had an outside fire and the smoke came towards us my granny would say smoke follows beauty. We still ran from it but we felt pretty.

Thank you, for sharing. I’m an older Single RVer. I travel w/my cats. Use to live in metro Atlanta (Suwanee) and really miss the South. Trying to move back. And love camping in the state. I may try this park in the Spring, Lord, willing. Happy adventures!!

Plan on going there to go old school camping with a tent. Lol. Haven't been to this park since I was a girl scout. Can't wait to check it out. Looks wayyyy more beautiful than I remember. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

Enjoyed your video as always. Once again it was my pleasure meeting you two at Three Way Campers this past Saturday. We have not camped at Red Top Mountain Campground before but checked it out a couple times. However we do like Victoria Campground on the Woodstock side of Lake Allatoona for a little weekend getaway. We stayed there 3 times(Site #12, highside of the lake, end spot with a large cookout area). It's a pull through for up to 30' I believe, of course with only partial hookups.

Nice site excluding where the hookups were. Love the view of the water. We like the state parks in the off season, because there are less people and it's more quiet. I like how you point out sites and give numbers. We live in South Carolina. This shouldn't be too far from us. Only problem is our motorhome may be too big for the sites.(40 ft an a car we tow). Looks like you all had a good time. Y'all take care.

My hubby and I have been watching Adventure Bandits which we love. But I told my hubby let's find more couples that look like us. And we came across you two. We are hooked! The campground looks like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We have a few state parks in Ohio that look very similar but it is too cold to camp right now. You are fortunate that you live far enough south that you have a longer camping season.

At about 18:30, you passed a rig like ours (an E-Pro); except ours has no slide but does have bunks. Good to see one of our cousins making the rounds. E-Pro is also built by Flagstaff/Rockwood, just like your rig.

@@southernethoslife We did a ton of research before we purchased and although all RV's have problems, Flagstaff/Rockwood units usually are built pretty well. Then again, during Covid, quality went down a lot. That is one reason that we bought a "pre-Covid" unit (2019). So far, we have had NO major issues.
Hey Reggie, really enjoyed your video of out in the woods. Beautiful serene place. How did your fireplace perform on cool weather, was it enough? As for us, we use a space heater whenever possible instead of using our gas heater. We do this to conserve our gas, and it is also quieter. Keep them videos coming, we love them. Blessings…

Hello from New Zealand, been following you guys for a little while now. We are looking at buying this RV you have, just wanted to know your opinion on it now you’ve been travelling in it for a while now. Anything that you dislike about it, things you would change. Can you do another video walkthrough with what storage ideas that you have done, just be interesting and give me ideas.

The way this site is set up they intended for you to set up your outdoor living space on the back side of your camper? It’s kind of odd to me, other than that I would think that would be a great site with a great view. We hope to visit in April of next year and it will be our first time.

Thanks for the video. We'll be at Red Top in March. How was the internet? Did you have any issues? What Internet services/access do you use?
Hey Michelle. We are glad you enjoyed the video. In regards to internet/wifi, they offer a 3rd party provider which requires you to purchase usage per day, I believe it was around $10.00. But we used our hotspots and cellular service, which was great and allowed me to work. We use T-Mobile, formally Sprint. It performed GREAT. I hope that helps and if you decide to visit, make plans for your own internet. Have a good week 👍🏾.

Enjoyed the video but Reggie needs to be mick'd. Most of what was said was lost. More importantly, if our paths ever cross, let me offer some useful tips on getting a campfire started, Reggie. Seriously...........and I will be looking for improvements🤨😏😋
