yes can't say I love watching a guy in his boat if the boat is not on the water. He is putting the knowledge into action! Fall fishing is tough but worth the grind!
I felt like I was a co-angler in a tournament. I love the steady fishing and never really have enjoyed all the constant music that most videos have while trying to enjoy the content. Good job of constantly giving play by play action. 👍🏻🇺🇸🎣
BEST FISHING UA-cam CHANNEL!! Thank you, Ty, for continuing to give your followers real, in-depth, thoughtful, hardcore and advanced fishing information. I always find something in your videos that I can incorporate into my own fishing to become a better angler.
I love this format! Long, but not crazy long. I really appreciate your commentary about your thought process. That's extremely instructive and helpful. I like the lack of music and editing. To me this is a more honest representation of actual fishing. It helps that it was a productive day with relatively frequent catches and but I'm willing to watch a long form video of just fishing with very little catching. Keep it up!
I’m definitely a fan of these types of videos where you’re on the water fishing and explaining everything that you are doing. If you did this style more often I would always be here to watch, I think these are the most informative videos on UA-cam and I greatly appreciate it Tyler. Thanks again for sharing this with us it was without a doubt one of the better videos I’ve seen on this channel. This and the lake breaks are currently my favorite keep up the great work.
this style of video is more like real fishing. Love to hear the mental dialogue between bites, as well as the one bait and go style because not all of us can have 5 different rods rigged up. I have been watching for about a year and I like what you’re doing thanks.
Good video. I prefer this raw approach. It's laid back and informative. Really gives what you're showing us time to sink in. Reminds me of how I have to fish my pool of the Ohio River.
I like this type of video. You talking and explaining your thought processes ss yougo through the day is thrvbest way for c a lot of us to understand the proper way to fish. Thank you for making me a better angler.
I love the simplicity of this video! Thanks. I love your other videos as well, from your instructional videos to the line break videos. But, this is definitely a great video style.
I like this format, watching how you fish specific lures is more important listening to music. I have learned from you and used many of your lessons successfully. Thank you!
Definitely think this is the way to go. I think with all of the standard tips and tricks videos this is a way to demonstrate your skills in a real way. Plus you don’t have premeditate what you wanna talk about you just go fishing and we get to tag along. It’s a nice change of pace where you can be authentic while dropping knowledge in real time while it’s happening!
I like this type of video the best. Watching you do what you’re talking about really puts it in perspective and gives better insight into the thinking process. I’d like to see more of these. I will say that your lake break videos are a close second to this. Love the channel, keep the great content coming!
I really like that u go over wat ur fishing where ur fishing and the fact u didn't edit out the snag on the stick alot of guys don't show little mishaps and that u walk through what ur thinking well done good job
I'm a huge fan of your channel and I love the content you share with us. Very informative with attention to detail and straight to the point. I don't comment a lot but I felt like a wanted to mention that especially now that you are trying to do something different. Yes I like this type of video with just fishing and enjoying the action. No background music makes it more enjoyable. It feels almost like an actual fishing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. Much appreciated. Keep them coming. Cheers from Canada.
Booyah squelcher and war eagle 1/2 oz is all I throw. The squelcher in tinfoil and war eagle solid black. I can’t get on a good topwater bite this fall but been excellent on downsized crankbaits. Love watchin ya and love this format. Love when your videos drop!
Love watching you detail out how you search for fish on this type of water. I fish a small municipal reservoir similar to this and I can relate to your effort here - and I hope I picked up some tips for my next trip. I'm still not good at using my buzzbait. I kill it on a certain worm texas rigged on my lake - as recent at 2 days ago catching a 2-4.... while my buddy when out and caught a 5 pounder on a chatterbait.
Another vote for this is good stuff. Talking while you fish, why you're doing what you're doing, what you think on the fly that caused you to choose the bait or a change it technique. I noticed the fish had marks on them like bird strikes.
I dig it good video. As an ohio guy alot of the lakes in my area are high pressure. Rocky, ceaser, cowan, paint... some of these baits and tactics have helped us alot thnx
I like both kinds of videos. I enjoy hearing you think out loud. Btw. I love your channel. Watch it almost daily. Soaking up your knowledge like a sponge!!
Hey brother you asked for feedback on this format and I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed it I rarely ever watch a 45 minute UA-cam video but I watched yours from start to finish I loved it if possible can you do a series like this on different styles of Bates where you keep the same bait on for the entire video to show your retrieve color choice depth of lure where you cast on and on and on it's very beneficial to somebody that's only been fishing for a year or 2 thanks so much Keep up the great work
I like all the content styles as long as its interesting im not the norm I watch all the video and enjoy long form content. keep em coming helping me get more motivated myself to make more content just hasn't been great fishing here and with the economy its hard to justify traveling every weekend for fun
Great video! I don't usually watch these longer videos but had the computer setup in a place where I could follow along with you (as opposed to my phone).
I love this type of video but also love your other videos. The editing sometimes is freakin hilarious! lol. Appreciate you trying new things man, good for you!
Thanks Tyler, I like this format as well! I fished the northern stretch of that river last weekend on my kayak. Caught one, lost 3 or 4. Did not try a buzzbait, maybe I should have!
Love this format. It's a bit longer and not as educational per say as far learning a new technique or the like of some of your other video but you do learn little nuances of fishing in the practical sense... if that makes sense. But I definitely get my fishing fix when I can't be out there on the water too! And you probably convinced me to try a buzz toad today or tomorrow when I go
We got a new moon coming tonight and a freeze coming in the morning. Going to get some fishing done here in a minute as the sun goes down. I know for a fact they are going to be smashing the whopper plopper and spinnerbaits like crazy tonight. Thanks for sharing Ty.

I started using baitcaster reel only yesterday. Unlike in a spinning reel, there is a slot in the reel where you can tie the line when done fishing. Is there something like that in a baitcaster reel?
I,m a regular viewer and a woodsman just turning fisher after 75 yrs., I would like to know if you ever tried the original jitterbug, in the early 60,s this was the no. 1 surface lure, I think it would be a nice compact lure for skipping, it would stand up beside a lot of these surface lures ,I bet, made by arobast or something.
I really like the Bizz baits dinner bell buzz baits with zoom toad trailers But for real this video is very informative gotta apply new techniques to an old lure
I much prefer these type of fishing videos. Where you fish and talk/teach while fishing. With your personality, it meshes well together. I have a hard time watching people sitting on the deck of their boat talking about how to fish. How do people know that what they are saying will actually catch fish? Just my personal two cents. I am sure some keyboard warrior has a contrasting opinion.
@@BassFishingHQjust finished watching the entire video, I really like this format, so helpful for those of us learning more detailed information about how to catch LM and SM bass, you have a great channel
Lakes with small bass are better suited this format. But I do like the "Lake Break" videos where it's like watching a highlight video of a mock tournament. Good way to end it with 3.5lb smallie.
I like all your videos. But I do prefer this type. I wouldn't say to do this type 100% of the time. But please definitely do more like this. Not that I would complain if you did this type100% of the time. But I'm sure there are people who prefer the other type. So doing both will make more people happy. Which is hard to do.
I like this type video. I get bored watching fishing videos without fishing. I prefer the commentary & instructions on the go.
100%
100% agree. This style video is is where it's at. Just a day on the lake fishing and talking.
yes can't say I love watching a guy in his boat if the boat is not on the water. He is putting the knowledge into action! Fall fishing is tough but worth the grind!
Good video, I missed what you said on size, brand and trailer, was that braid with leader?
I felt like I was a co-angler in a tournament. I love the steady fishing and never really have enjoyed all the constant music that most videos have while trying to enjoy the content. Good job of constantly giving play by play action. 👍🏻🇺🇸🎣

Nothing beats a long fishing video. I look for these types pf videos daily. Wake up coffee and fishing on the tv.
I like the fact that you keep your videos real, raw is good I have not watched a video of yours that I did not like! Keep them coming please!

Great video and Buzzbait, I started using that bait last year and so far have been very pleased with its performance👍
Just when I thought I was done with top water! Now I have to try it again 😂
This is a great video like the out fishing and talking much better than just talking about technique and sitting somewhere good job.

What would you change up if it was sunny? Windy? I dig this format.
Great video Tyler! You might try Strie Kings skippin buzz. It doesn't get bent up and has a good keeper too!
Really enjoyed this video please make more bud. Great job.
Thanks Tyler, I like this format as well! I fished the northern stretch of that river last weekend on my kayak. Caught one, lost 3 or 4. Did not try a buzzbait, maybe I should have!
Even getting skunked lately. Gonna try this this weekend.
To me this is the best way to explain technique specific baits. For you, its more difficult to get the fish to respond when you're videoing them.

That sounds like fun.

What changes do you make when the fish aren't as committed to the buzzbait? Change color/trailer/retrieve?

But for real this video is very informative gotta apply new techniques to an old lure
I haven't tried that particular buzzbait, Ill have to pick one up. Thanks for watching! I appreciate that.
Great video
Nice jacket bro
What makes the buzzbait so much more effective in the fall vs the plopper? they seem almost the same
enjoyed it
I like this format, but whatever works for you.
Like all your videos!!👍
This may be a dumb question here. Does a bigger buzz bait make more water disturbance, or is it just a different profile for the fish?
I’ve always had problems casting Buzz Baits because the blade would fire up as I was loading it up and casting.
I much prefer these type of fishing videos. Where you fish and talk/teach while fishing. With your personality, it meshes well together.

I talk about it in the video. Ark Cobb Series “buzz burner” rod. 30lb braid and 7.1:1 Ark G5 reel

I like when you think out loud. I hate to just watch someone fish. I want to know what's going through your mind while you fish.
i let my buzz bait sink a little bit caught a lot of fish that way
Just remember if you live in Canada results my very LoL our bass aren't as aggressive as you Americans!!
