I feel like Nasus should be one of those champs that hover B-A tier in low elo but D-C tier in higher elos. He's great for learning the basics. I believe the same thing for Garen tbh. It should be the inverse of high skill expression champs. I don't think easy champs should be unplayable in high elo. Just they shouldnt have so much control.
Adrian Riven I was watching recently and he mentioned you can't counter nasus like you used to by stopping him scaling because when he gets his ult he's already scaled.

Now it's really hard to play K'sante in tournament such as LCK and LPL because of lane swap thing. Even in LCK Ksante win rate is below 50%
I mean, it makes a lot of sense. K'Sante is a very highly skill expressive champ who is too strong as a pro play blind pick and bad everywhere else. So he needs a redesign that keeps his identity, makes him weaker in pro, stronger everywhere else but keeps the expressiveness and matchup neutrality? That's super difficult.
Nasus is overpowered in every bracket with his most boring build? Extremely easy, he just needs less power in that build.
I think its hard to nerf ksante cuz the gap between soloq and pro play is insane. His wr in soloq is 48% (emerald+) but pro play he's the best blind pick imo.

How do you suggest nerfing Ksante? like the dude is almost useless in regular play as is, just pro play where he is high priority. And all the champions u listed are not the strongest champs on their own, they are just good to compensate the stronger picks in meta, just what Caedrel talked about Jarvan etc. in the video. Renekton vs ksante was popular match up because they can be left on their own if wanted to, they are self sufficient enough for proplay when u want to focus on more important parts in the game.

the good thing about worlds is that is a long tournament so even when meta look clear at the first stages, many times in the finals phases some teams dicover new meta that counter the earlier meta and normaly those teams end winning worlds
first week of worlds is irrelevant because no one knows the meta until the end of week 2

Nasus was kinda rushed, but I 100% think that Ksante is not op, it just serves the team compositions in pro play too well. It's a kit problem, not a balance problem. Only way to deal with this is rework really. If there were never situations where toplane has to be sacrificed, ksante would be obselete. If you nerf ksante even more then there is literally 0 reason to pick him outside of proplay.

They buffed Lissandra q dmg by 20 FLAT last patch and now litteraly 1 patch later they nerf her q by 10%?? Her winrate in master+ went up by litteraly 0.7% and she only climbed 1 place in the rankings to 31/61 and now she is being made worse then before, who the fuck is in charge of these changes????
She has two annoying ccs like 2 morgana Q's as well as heal and then low cd poke in laning which pierces minions, and even has a slow-blink. Don't you think it's not justifiable? If liss gets 6 first, any champ against her in lane dies 90% and 100% if she has ignite. Try to look at her kit and her scaling potential. It's horrible to play against in soloq

Since you got 24 upvotes spreading misinformation: Lissandra went from 53.1% to 55.4% winrate in masters+, making her one of the highest winrate mid laners as an easy to play counterpick champion. Same thing happened in dia +. Champion was overtuned and got nudged back. Spreading misinformation to get your champion buffed and sway public opinion is really low.

TES got nerfed, Crème isn’t a mage player
Chovy & Zeka got massively buffed, and the meta shifted completely, which might benefit teams that were almost dreadful in the past few months, like T1 and G2. So LCK was probably not nerfed.
I don’t think Chovy got buffed, he’s incredible at mages but he’s even better at ADCs mid (plus they fit GENG play style). Chovy isn’t like Shanks who sees a big downgrade without perma lane prio/turret pressure, but it’s still definitely not a buff
Especially considering his 2 biggest competitors (at least in LCK) are notably bad at ADCs

GP and Jax are going to be more prominent, two classic Impact picks.
Tank jungles are still good for Umti
Azir, Orianna, and other scaling mages wont really be played, but Ahri/Trist/Corki/Taliyah will be, great for APA.
No more MF and Zeri so Yeon can focus on his most played picks like Kalista and Ashe.
Support meta hasn't really changed at all so engage tanks are still up for CoreJJ, his best style.

azir will definitely still be played, the R nerfs wont matter as much as people think. he's still an extremely safe blindable ap scaler mid who's exceedingly hard to gank, and makes ganks VERY easy because he can bait out flashes for the next gank.

Nerfing laneswaps is a HUGE nerf for TL, offsets everything else. Still think they can do well though.

I would say with this nerf the R is now completely reduced to makeplay switch. Laning might get a bit rougher but his skill set still seems okay
I’m pretty upset Hwei didn’t get some big buff I really wanted to see himat worlds and he just needed a little bit more. The ap item buffs don’t even help him as much as other mages as he doesn’t have the best burst and actually like horizon a lot more than shadowflame for the haste

The TF buffs is quite nice for mid, also allows teams who play him well as a nice flex for top and mid, Ryze also recently got a buff maybe we will even see him return back to pro play.

Am I the only one that finds it a bit ridiculous that for weeks or months in some cases, they tailor the tuning and nerfs and buffs to pro play, let the pros play those picks and draft strategies for this long, and then suddenly are like eh fuck it let’s just change a bunch of shit for the biggest tournament the game has to offer. Like we know they’ve been practicing and playing these champs, but fk it. Ya know, for shits and giggles. I can’t think of any sport that has a similar concept, but I guarantee no other sport would do some shit like this and just mix it all up right before the most prestigious tournament there is. That’s like the NFL being like, ya know what, for playoffs let’s just add a player slot for each team on defense.

It’s not that he’s broken. He’s high pick rate since he’s got long range poke, aoe wave clear, and a dash. Pros can mitigate the weak early game or even handshake the lane and mitigate any losses which doesn’t happen in solo queue.

Another factor in his popularity is that he brings much needed magic damage into double or triple AD comps. If Corki wasn't picked as much, I suspect that full tank Gragas and Malphite would be played all the time

Nasus top lane. At 10 minutes 0/0/0 had 300 stacks. Double kills my top laner and jungler. At 14 minutes had 550 stacks. Teleports to bottom lane gets another double kill 1v2. For the rest of the game one Q does 90% of my adc's hp.

bc more often then not in my games the reason nasus gets fed is bc his jg cares more about seeing him carry than the opposing jg cares about shutting him down

@@francofouche8639 Nasus has been a hard champion to duel when he presses R for *years* now. If you don't have a champ that can actually outduel him level 6, you need to get him to pop his R and disengage, and then you have like two minutes in which you can zone and punish him without too much trouble.

personally im happy to see the patch mix things up entirely before worlds. that way we don't have to see the same bullshit over and over again lol im surprised they didn't buff LDR because the 10AD simply isnt worth it over the mortal reminder grievous wounds.
The infamous BLG patch lmao. Literally everything that could have gone right for them and wrong for GENG/T1 has... Done exactly so. GENG is still the better team though so they should win (fingers crossed) but T1 is absolutely dozeno with Azir and Varus gutted, literally their best champs and tbh I won't even be surprised if TL smashes them at worlds.

Rumble nerf is huge and Zeus can't really play renekton or jax so its another hit for them.... his Jayce can be punish easily too
Azir and Varus is basically Faker and Gumayusi itself and they got nerf while Jax and Ahri is Bin and Knight itself
and you'd be crazy if you think that jinx, jarvan buff will be doing anything and viego clears got nerf with that monster dmg nerf so I doubt its a real buff too
@nirvash241 Depending on the meta Zeus can thrive as long as he's on top carry champs like yone and atrox which yone seems to be trending up. Aside from him the rest of the team is suspect.

Man, this shit is why watching pro League is so frustrating. We’ve had this awful meta all year, and now the teams that earned worlds spots on all these comps are not able to play what got them there. Why do this? Just wait for the next season to clean up all the mess you made.
or drop the worlds patch before playoffs...I'll be honest if worlds was on the current patch I'd stick to watching clips rather than live games and tune in for the final maybe
Adapting and reading the meta is part of their job as pro players.
worlds is the longest tournament and gives teams the most time in any tournament to adapt to a new meta. Also worlds always has pretty big shake ups and being able to adapt and define the world meta has always been needed to win worlds.
@@bellor123 what I'm saying is, and this is for all the people replying so far, is it makes no sense to go through a whole year long meta, by which all teams are tested on to make Worlds (and the meta this year has been stale as fuck), just to pull the rug out and change things back to mages midlane and Jinx/apheleos hyperscaling bot out of nowhere. There are multiple splits to make these changes gradually throughout the year to test adaptability. Why do it before the most important part of your season?

I've seen some people saying this Worlds patch feels like a panic patch to close ADCs out of midlane. If they are pushed out, and AP mids are back, I can see the Sylas priority rising if Maokai and Alistar are going to be picked still (I think even with the sapling nerf, Mao will be picked just bc of the ultimate), same if TF/Galio will appear as well, to keep up with their global presence.
the sapling nerf is absolutely useless, sure they do a bit of damage but they also just..grant free vision when you dont always the luxury of facechecking brushes. and his ult is one of the best engage/disengage tools in the entire game. he definitely aint goin nowhere lol

Nah, but how do you look at these ziggs nerfs and think he will be gone. Literally changes almost nothing, he was not being picked for his passive. I feel like caedrel was rushing a bit too much when looking at this patch. They may be hitting all the meta champs, but I feel like they missed the mark on some of them, especially ziggs.
Not convinced that Ziggs is dead. His auto's (edit: after his abilities-his passive) do less damage to turrents now, which is notable, but that's the only thing getting touched. His waveclear, champ damage, capacity to satchel turrets (and therefore the Ziggs plus Herald combo) are all still the same.

The shieldbow hit affects Yone's 2-core build with rushing it after BoRK, so it makes him a bit more fragile and more prone to being punished.
Yone is melee, his shieldbow actually got buffed early (320-720 ->400-700 shield for melee with the 20 sheild being irrelevant at lvl 18 anyway)

Think you're somewhat forgetting some of the champs that were held down by the the meta champs, I think they're trying to level out mid and ad by nerfing all the standouts.

I'm convinced the two AD buffs and nerves on MF is like a troll like a long-term troll cuz I remember literally 10 years ago now probably qt had a video where he goes over the past and like the first 30 seconds of the video and there's a plus two AD buff to MF and I literally... it's just what is the point what are they doing
I think the issue with nasus is that his kit is really simple and if you can pick something that simple in pro play it probably destroys ladder. Playing against him as teemo it felt like I had to forego all cs and auto him. Even then he could just tank my damage with lifesteal and so obviously I’m pushed as fuck trying to outpace lifesteal and I get ganked and it’s gg. He hits lvl 6 and my life is over, I can’t pressure him anymore or walk up because w disables my kit and he out heals my damage entirely.
