@@Simplex1988 Brilliant! I'm a volunteer on the Middleton Railway in Leeds, I hope to be at that level some day - still need the hours though! I bet it was hard coordinating the propelling, I've never had to do something like that!
Don't think I'd fancy bowling along through a Scottish highland winter in 828's open cab. Was that bloke at 4:20 pointing at you ? "Look! - there's another of those bloody youtubers - check your zips lads . . ." Yet another line I've never visited . . . Lot of shunting going on. Great shots again though ..
Thank you! I imagine 828 wasn't the best loco to work on in the Scottish weather - lovely on the Spa Valley though! I don't think he was pointing at me, I think he was pointing at the hat that fell off the bridge when the train came in. Still, it's amusing to imagine!
They were a great addition to the WSMT fleet in Scotland in the mid to later 60s, when I worked there.. They did great service on the main route from Glasgow to the Ayrshire coast, I think all were Alexander bodied and, in my opinion, much smarter than the absolute flat fronted ones eleswhere,
Thank you so much for visiting and videoing your day at the railway. Do come and see us again soon!
No problem, it's a lovely line! I'm a northerner though, so unfortunately I can't say when the next time I'll be there is! Do you volunteer there?
@@PHsRailwayVideos I was the fireman on 828 that day. Thank you, we do our best to keep it all up together.

I went down whilst I was in the area last August. Eridge is a very unique station as it is used 50/50 by Southern & the SVR
@@terrier_productions Yeah, that's why 73140 had to be propelled when it broke down outside of the platform!
