Thats a beauty! having boated a few 50+ in my lifetime I can appreciate all the hard work and frustration for that brief reward. I lost my biggest next to the boat when he went air-born and literally jumped the bow of the boat. As much as I would have liked to have boated that fish I wouldn't trade that loss for the catches. It was an incredible experience!!! Musky are an illusive prize at that size fellas, Well Done! As a side note I was an avid tennis player and the only time I ever got tennis elbow was Musky fishing 5 days in a row!
You guys are real cool muskie pros!! I like the complete silence on catching that beauty as not to scare more muskies in vicinity of boat!! You guys ROCK man!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hey guys, she's a bruiser! I had a 39 jump on a spoon I was casting for pike in September before it hit the water. It was about 3 inches above waterline and she was a rocket out the water. I can relate and thanks for the video!

Great Muskie ! You said 51.5 " × 21 " ? That should be 40 lbs plus ? I watched with a big smile how many trips around your boat you made before landing her. No matter how long it's been or how old you get your video will always be amazing to watch. Were those Cranes singing in the background ? Even the wildlife was cheering for you.
Exactly. It will always be great to watch back! The fish was actually 51.5 x 22.5. Based on our bump board calculator that fish was easily in the low 30s. We never did weigh it. One of the biggest heads I've ever seen. Haha. And yes those were definitely cranes in the background.

Burnin Eights used to fish the Wisconsin river around tomahawk. It was Lake Mohawksin. Some good musky even back then. Late 70’s - 90’s. Miss fishing it.

Most muskies don't fight that long! Unless she was barely hooked! Most big ones longer ya fight them more chances something will go wrong! Unless your using light braided line and fear it will break it! Nice fish anything over 4 feet is a dandy! I see 50 plus every year sometimes 3-4 times a year! I fish mainly rivers they are a different breed
