And yes those watertaxi,s are a nice way of transport.
Sometimes after having diner in Hotel New York after that a small boattrip (watertaxi) to get some fresh air and to see the lights of the skyline.
It’s so refreshing and a great way to enjoy the sea🤗

I am glad you had such a good time in Rotterdam. I have lived here all my life. Favourite places are the Park near Euromast, and Eendrachtsplein/Oude Binnenweg. Currently live on Noordereiland, so especially liked your impressions from the Erasmus Bridge. Do come back, and thanks for being such a great ambassador for Rotterdam ;-)
Hi Hans, thanks for your comment. I do enjoy visiting Rotterdam🤗. How is your stay in Noordereiland, do you miss Rotterdam?
@@josphineogugua Noordereiland is a neighbourhood in Rotterdam, in the middle of the river. You can reach it by taking the Willemsbrug (that's the red bridge opposite the Erasmusbrug). Might be interesting to visit on your next trip. The views here are fantastic. Have lived here 20 years now. nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noordereiland_(Rotterdam)
Also there are at least two watertaxi stops here, if you don't want to walk all the way.
Hi Jossy, you are looking good ❤
Thank you so much ☺️
I lived and worked in Rotterdam 22 years ago. I have to say I share your sentiments. I'd choose it over the UK, which I am a citizen of. I was at Zalmstraat but it was possible to walk round the whole city. I did my first day there.
It’s so good to know that you enjoyed your time in Rotterdam. I think it’s a beautiful city for sure. The flexibility of transport systems (bicycles, bus, tram, train, car, water taxi and all) just makes it a clear choice for me in comparison to most cities in the UK.
@@josphineogugua Exactly! I still cant forget the city and the country. It was home away from home. If ever I return back to live in the UK for good from Nigeria, I think Im relocating to Holland. Its home from home. Enjoy yourself 👍🏾
@@orighomisandediare4990 I agree🤗. All the best best in your plans👌
❤️❤️❤️
The most beautiful is a young smiling family enjoying themselves! You are beautiful the 3 of you 🙂

I hopes have you a nice evening. Its enough to let us automatically read "Ik hoop dat jullie een fijne nacht hebben." "I hope you have a nice evening."
Hope the correction helps you improve even more :)
@@dicknr1 thank you, I appreciate this a lot.
Its not a modern city. Its modernized. But far from modern. Modern would be around almere where city planning is beyond all of this.
Rotterdam is a joke as for Amsterdam and Utrecht, they are popular but modern.... Just because they were build in recent 500 years doesnt make it modern. Modern will be great planning and constructing accordingly. Rotterdam is far from that. Although if you compare it to the rest of the world it is advanced. But for dutch standards its not so modern. That title has been long taken by the newest province which is build partially for the new modern way of life. Lelystad a bit further where I am residing now isnt. So not all of the province is modernized to the same degree.
Lelystad = equal to Rotterdam except less popular and less big. But Almere takes currently the crown on the most sophisticated build of a city.
Rotterdam is pale compared to that, so is lelystad. But the point is Rotterdam has been rebuild but thats to customs of car/bike traffic ideals. Almere is build for public transport and efficiency. Much difference between the 2 of them.
I know many people will try to argue how great it is in those touristic cities but those are either ignorant tourists or people who lived there all their lives. I moved 16 times through my 29 years. I have seen the country way more. And Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht are the biggest failures we have. The only reason they are high on the world list is: Historical value as they were always bigger cities and Utilities in forms of shops/education and so on. It doesnt mean the city is modern. Means it just accomodates many different things. But thats ofcourse at the cost of very high prices. up to 400% more in those cities compared to a place like emmen.
Where you can get in emmen 600-700 a good 120m2 house. In amsterdam/rotterdam that be 30-40m2 for that amount of money. Before you get a 100m2 house or bigger will cost you 300-400% more than just a few hours away.
Many cities we have are historical I agree, compared to that these cities are modern. But for dutch standards its not so modern. it was modern. Now its replaced. It isnt ancient, but its not modern.
Hi Dick,
I think our definition of modern differ… I acknowledge that most of the cities you’ve mentioned also have their unique beautiful architecture, I think Rotterdam can be a breath of fresh air to people who get bored of the conventional European style medieval buildings. Rotterdam may not have the best planning but it is indeed different and unique which makes it beautiful in its own way. That doesn’t mean other cities aren’t beautiful, they all are in their own way.
