Mount Barney SER South East Ridge Group Hike

- Perfect start to the day with warm weather and just a small overcast making it perfect hiking conditions, however 3/4 of the way up SER it started to rain and you guessed it soggy sock hike and total whiteout at the summit 😀. Overall a fun day with a group of new friends who haven't done Barney before (Barney virgins)

Thanks John, yeah it was a scout group with 15 kids… big kudos to those kids .. they managed to get to the very top of Barney.. best way to spend the weekend rather than being at home on their device like my damn kids hahaha

Haha. Awesome man!!! It was pretty much like that at The Steamers as well, but fortunately the weather cleared and we got a great view for lunchtime!! Too bad you didn't get to do the South trail of Death on Maroon, definitely the right weather for it haha.
hahaha as the weather turned shit, I was thinking damn perfect for "wild donkey" hike.. hahaha ..I'd also figured out your nick name.. I witnessed it first hand yesterday.. the 3 I led up were breathing like wild donkeys on the hills hahahaha.. it was so funny! Light Bulb moment!
