Haha. Awesome man!!! It was pretty much like that at The Steamers as well, but fortunately the weather cleared and we got a great view for lunchtime!! Too bad you didn't get to do the South trail of Death on Maroon, definitely the right weather for it haha.
hahaha as the weather turned shit, I was thinking damn perfect for "wild donkey" hike.. hahaha ..I'd also figured out your nick name.. I witnessed it first hand yesterday.. the 3 I led up were breathing like wild donkeys on the hills hahahaha.. it was so funny! Light Bulb moment!
