I have a question, hopefully you will respond: Do you think this microscope is good enough to inspect a straight razor edge or a knife? for chipping rolled edges (honing process) etc..
not really, the zoom is not enough, edge would be hardly visible because of the lighting conditions and contrast. this is just for some macro inspection so you dont strain your eyes. if you need microscope for that better go with amtech good quality microscope with nice image and focusing or equvilaent. this is more of a toy :D Get microscope with over 100-150x zoom. This G1200 also has fake claim for its zoom. Its around 40x-50 at its best
Imam dugo taj isti ali bez baterija i nije loš. Zgodan za SMD i te sitne delčiće. Počeo da sam sebe nerviram pravim sve manje i manje pločice sa lom tih delčića a nije mi jasno što. Pre lepo na veliku ploču.

@@markyu70 ja se za sad držim 0603 komponenti mada razmisljam da predjem i na 0402. Pored toga uglavnom sot323 i qfn4x4mm. Ispadose mi oci. Nakon sastavljanja jedne strane ploče glava me boli do kraja dana 😂
@@Ncky Pa recimo da jeste. U jednoj sam koristio Uno u drugoj Mega sada ESP32 osnova je GRBL. Zgodno jer ništa ne radi računar sve radi mikrokontroler a komunikacija može biti usb bluetooth wireless a može da radi i tako što se na SD koja je pri mikroprocesoru snimi gcode fajl. Konkretno za te dve mašine koristim Raspberry (mali je ne prlja se u radionici gde je puno prašine) a može se to raditi i mobilnim ono samo šalješ mašini gcode i dobiješ status. Ono na snimku je BCNC na raspberry pi 4. Tu je bez kućišta posle sam našao fino kućište napravio paljenje i gašenje i ostalo za Pi koristio Atinny
If you can request a new unit from seller do it. My first idea is to check if white flat flex cable is connected properly, then check if its connected properly on the camera itself. The right thing to do is to request new unit or refund
You can try to replace the leds. I think it is 3528 led or similar. It's best to disconnect leds and test them each with multimeter and lab power supply using constant current. The adjustment is just potentiometer, not pwm so maybe pot has gone bad? Do you know what is constant current power supply?
i bought it g1200 , and used it for a month , and i regret it , the image quality is very bad , it never gives good balance between light and dark areas , the light is refleced directly to the camera when working with cicuit boards or electronics repairs , cannot see the parts clearly and the colors is not clear too , cannot tell if there is some thing dicolored or burned , and after a month or so of usage , it died , it doesnt turn on , i opened it and tested the board , i found the circuit board to be shorting on the power area next to the charger port , and its poor design seems to have failed in short time because it generates lots of heat while it doesnt have and proper cooling , its one of the worst microscopes in the market and no matter what price you pay for it , doesnt worth it never buy this model , you will end up throwing it in trash
I'm using it for a year and it does the job. You still gotta remember that it costs 70 bucks. You can't compare it to microscope that costs 180 bucks and more. If you use it at angle image is very good. It's not microscope for working, it's just inspection microscope
