    Good review! As you say it looks like a nice bit of kit!

    Hey, nice review. I have the same microscope. Do you experience the following problem: When I try to take a pictures it is working fine. When I record a video it is working fine. But after the 1st video every file after that is corrupted. If I take a picture and then preview it on the microscope it is showing blank screen (same with video), if I connect the SD card to a computer, all images before 1st video (including the 1st video) is ok, but after that all files are shown as corrupted.

      Hi. Sorry I missed your comment. I actually do all my video with my screen recording software. I don't use the built in features to do it.

    What is a realistic working distance between the lens and the object?

    • @AnotherMaker
      @AnotherMaker  3 роки тому +1

      For reasonable soldering etc the lense could be like 4-6 inches away.

    I’m blind and need 1! SBC components r small. Plus I am starting my 1st Arduino project soon.

      Well, I need tubing. I saw a lot of different sizes on spools at “”ACE HARDWARE”” back corner. Different sizes. I may go larger tubing then reducers near plants. From there have small pump per plant. Mostly gravity fed, not much work for small pump. Now I am searching for “best code already written for water sensor and for it to trip pump on /off.
      Still want small different color small wire spools and buy end pieces or solder them where connected.
      I gotta create water proof container for Arduino/breadboard and run wiring out/sealant around wire holes.

    Very bad for battery replace methods. Not good.

      Yeah. I would be fine removing the battery altogether. It's really not necessary to be there. I never use it on battery.

    i bought it g1200 , and used it for a month , and i regret it , the image quality is very bad , it never gives good balance between light and dark areas , the light is refleced directly to the camera when working with cicuit boards or electronics repairs , cannot see the parts clearly and the colors is not clear too , cannot tell if there is some thing dicolored or burned ,
    and after a month or so of usage , it died , it doesnt turn on , i opened it and tested the board , i found the circuit board to be shorting on the power area next to the charger port , and its poor design seems to have failed in short time because it generates lots of heat while it doesnt have and proper cooling ,
    its one of the worst microscopes in the market and no matter what price you pay for it , doesnt worth it
    never buy this model , you will end up throwing it in trash

      I'm really sorry about that. I've had mine since this video and use it all the time without issue. I don't have a problem focusing it either. Sorry you got a dud. Thanks for letting people know.
