Richard scored his 71st H/H match today. (After a brief and rewarding fling with Gary yesterday, the contestant returns to Richard!) Here's the updated leader board showing the 10 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: TIE: Orson Bean - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Betty - 50% (15 wins in 30 attempts). TIE: Fannie - 50% (7 wins in 14 attempts). Charles - 45.7% (16 wins in 35 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 35.3% (71 wins in 201 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Brett - 32.1% (9 wins in 28 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 408, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
18:35 Lol! I'm obsessed with vanity plates (although I don't have one myself) and take pix of them at every opportunity, which has made for some awkward encounters. I have quite the extensive collection. I'd drop everything if I saw KLUTZ and do whatever I had to do to get a pic!
Gene once mentioned his jealousy of Allen Ludden's wireless mic. But remember the difference between modern cell phones and the big bricks that were the earliest models. The early wireless mics were pretty clumsy. I suspect they were outrageously expensive, too.
Hmmm that would've been usually. There was not Bluetooth, no cell signals, no computers. RF signal would've been the only way to communicate that I can think of. Any other ideas?
This show could never be done today. The reason it's funny is because everyone knows each other well enough to make fun of each other. No one gets mad because they know its comedy. People don't understand comedy these days. Reading the comments, people don't understand comedy AT ALL. It's sad. I think this show is hilarious.
THANK YOU. It annoys me that people are so nasty towards Brett Somers but they just don't understand Brett's sense of humour. If you read Fannie Flagg's article about Brett and Charles, Fannie said "it was never mean or hurtful and they loved it when you razzed them back." Brett is adorable and fabulous and I love her and the banter between Brett and Charles is hilarious. Same with Brett and Fannie and Brett and Betty.
@@MensAsses33 I don't believe it did. People didn't understand comedy before that either. It's actually a lack of reading comprehension. If you don't understand the words and what they mean, you can't make sense of their intent. It's why they changed the definition of "literal" and "figurative" in the dictionary. They now mean the same thing, which couldn't be further from the truth.

RIP Bob barker, he just passed away
I think i heard Gene mention another show host who used a wireless microphone. Wow, I didn’t know they had wireless mics back that early!

Brett (after putting on her glasses): Are they on straight?
Gary: Yeah, but your face is crooked!
He has had some funny jokes toward Brett on the recent episodes.
When is Charles going too be back on the show
Other episode comments say Charles returns in episode 471.
I LOVE BOB BARKER!!!!!!!
Interesting hair piece.

Love Fannie's sweater.
I like how the boos for Bob Barker keep getting louder 😂
It's a good thing that spelling didn't count on the show, because I would loved to have Gary explain the difference between muscles and mussels😂

Charles Nelson Reilly > Gary Burghoff
Charles is not in a Broadway play? Charles is having a blank? I have no answer! But that Charles is having an affair.
I am with Richard, that was my first thought.. ;0) Having a baby.. ;0)
(chuckle) Charles Nelson Riley isn't really in a broadway play. He's been gone all this time because he's having...
a baby or
a nervous breakdown.
If he's watching Gary he's having a nervous breakdown. Love Charles Nelson Reilly
Shirley’s husband looks like a cross between bill daly and Gary burghoff
Shirley kinda looks like a young Rosanna Arquette
Oh, Dannyboy, I can see a slight resemblance myself ✌
Each of the celebrities need to just show there answer without giving a ten minute lecture
Was Bob Barker really that sensitive?
@Jangler333 -- would've loved if she left. I can't stand her
Bob Barker was a comedian. Watching him taunt the audience is funny.
