I’m modelling for Roblox games for some extra money. I don’t make much, on average 430 USD a month, but I’m saving for a new PC, so it’s helpful. @Sacred Grounds That's not entirely true. I'd say you should focus more on UA-cam and get a side job rather than having the mindset that UA-cam is just a side job and you should also do a real job. When you're just starting out, you won't make much money. However, later on (when you're around 100k subs or so) you start to make a lot more money than the average person.

Never let somebody ruin your dreams. You can lead whatever path you want. Making videos on the Internet is a proper job, for small channels like me who basically use UA-cam as a part time job, £9 a month is still something. You can buy enough bread to last you for a month with that amount and you might not be able to really afford lots of tea with that but you can just use tap water. Most channels will get more than what I'm earning and SharkBlox probably has a stable income of £1000-2000 a month. Really it just depends on how much of your subscribers care about what content you want to make.
Get any job you like and don't be stopped by other people It doesn't matter about what they think It's about whether you like the job or not Don't let people stop you from getting your dream job!
*I don't actually want to be a UA-camr personally, (I want to be a Doctor), no one actually forces me to be one, I just want to. My parents are super supportive of me. I don't blame you if you want to be a UA-camr, my sister and parents would always tell me, "do what you love".*
