- Trainer Battle Music from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet made by me! This is not the official OST from the games. I tried to give it some spanish flare to it once again.

Im calling it now, the protagonists here are siblings but have the same rivalry as May and Brendan but are met by someone that is similar to Blue and Hugh but acts like Silver. They have a mom that is similar to the one in Sword and Shield but throws Chanclatas at you.
Spanish mom equipped with Chanclatas? This explains why the kids looks so... Well behaved...

They do Look related and that could be a cool story line to do down if a school area is implemented into the game.
In spain we say chanclas, no chanclatas.

I certainly hope the actual ost will have hints and nods at Spanish traditional music like this track. Also love the various nods to previous battle themes! The style of ORAS, and I think I heard the Palkia/Dialga piano motif too

It actually has some kind of flamenco music in it, and it's awsome.
I am hearing Hoenn in this Dialga & Palkia's theme & the Sinnoh trainer theme in this as well I like how you added touches of those in this.
Gamefreak should seriously hire you as a composer. This sounds really good. It contains and captures all of the little elements of what makes battle music so effective and exicting in Pokemon games.The spainish guitar in the background pushes this over the top.
This would make great trainer battle music for scarlet and violet, but would also make perfect wild pokemon battle music too.
0:26 --> 0:50 This is the best sequence in the music personally to me.

Imma be honest. I’m really not a fan of the new trainer designs. They look like the designers tried making a gender neutral trainer, forgot to do anything unique with that idea, and then pressed copy + paste. I’ll be it, the female design does look slightly better (literally just because of the braid giving her some individuality). Hopefully we’re getting some great customizing options because these two desperately need it.

I second a gym leader theme, not sure if its gonna stick to a traditional Masuda style or if the music like swsh, would fit more to the spanish themed reigon.

I can really hear that ORAS gen 6 theme in there, which makes sense as Kalos (gen 6) is near Spain. I can also hear an original tune to it, great job!
@@Terapagos3000 fr id hate to be the redditor that points out every little mistake but the hey guys its oras so gen 6 gen 6 = kalos argument is really gripping to straws considering if rse was simply just released after xy it would have nothing to do with kalos anyway
See this is what makes you so good as a Pokémon music composer. You understand what each individual theme needs based on what the trainer is doing and it still fits in perfectly with how every other battle theme sounds! It’s lively it’s energetic it’s bouncy! And I love how you added the Spanish instruments in the background! Really nice touch! Easily my favorite trainer battle theme!

this feels very inspired by hoenn. despite playing all the hoenn games several times and then some, if you were to tell me this was a track in oras, i wouldnt even bat an eye.
Hoenn Trainer battle theme plus Hoenn Gym Battle and then the beginning of Dialga and Palkia's Battle theme. I see what you did there. And even though the official ost will always be different, we always know that the music and battle themes will always be the very best. Can't wait for the name of this Region to be revealed along with the two Box Art Legendary Pokemon, their names and typings, along with the Regional Early route Normal, Bug, and Flying Types this summer!

The designs of these characters are actually kinda growing on me, even though the male version seems a bit bland

I’ll admit, the new human designs might take some getting used to (they look more like they belong in Harvest Moon than Pokémon), but I’m definitely liking how the rest of the game looks so far.

It started with Team Aqua/Magma grunt theme and then there was a Dialga/Palkia in the middle of it

I don't mean to be a heckler, but it just gives me generic Hoenn + Dialga/Palkia vibes throughout. It also kind of just feels like generic battle music, not like a super energetic celebration of the region's vibe through battle against a trainer like recent generations kind of feel

Well, it would make sense for Scarlet and Violet region to be connected to Kalos, as Kalos is France and the new region will be Spain
First 4 regions are all based on different parts of Japan, so they are connected somehow.

The only problem I have is that your style didnt evolve with the game... its like you're still stuck with gen 3 and 4 style... it sounds good but its clearly not qhat we'll be getting in Scarlet and Violet
Thanks bro , but I am not ''stuck'' with gen 3 or 4 style. I just want the old school style back! The newer battle themes are even easier to recreate since it is just modern generic video game music. Pokémon had his own distinct genre/style which many people would love to hear again. Glad you liked it still though! Also you could even say that this sounds like gen 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. It's the same pattern. The games after that changed the style.
