The color generally used for drawing on the plaster and glue preparation contains gum arabic as a binder. In this case the preparation is very absorbent (a layer of glue has not been spread on its surface) and the color does not contain binder but only carbon black and water. Thanks for the question

In this video example I guess the diluted layer of glue will come later,after the draw is finish ,becouse fluid glue:
-will fix the drawing not to be wash by the oil color brush
- not allowed carbon black pigmet to be mixt with oil colors
- not allowed the oil from oil colors to get in the plaster preparation (otherwise the oil color will lose binder and the white of the ground will become more dark and muddy )

Com água pura, o suporte de gesso fica poroso e absorve a pincelada, para maior estabilidade é no entanto aconselhável adicionar um pouco de goma arábica

Se il supporto sul quale vuoi trasferire il disegno è scuro vanno benissimo, certamente li devi prima polverizzare.
