OLD Leather Smith here, very nice, great job, Suggestion, I prefer using dye instead of paint, it lasts longer, stays brighter, and eventually doesn't chip off. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this project idea. I have been looking for a way to use some of the smaller pieces of moose leather i have, and its mostly 3 ounce. Thanks for the idea and the tutorial!
@@DanielReachCreations beveling/backgrounding without cutting on thinner leather. Plus the inside tooling on the wings fits well with the design I'm attempting (tiger's head)
@YT Commenting gotcha. Unfortunately sometimes that happens when I'm trying to strike a balance between providing a good tutorial but also not being too verbose and keeping the video to a watchable length. I'll be more conscious of it in the future.
@@DanielReachCreations I’m asking about what you put on the back of the butterfly and the 4 feathers project before you burnished with the folded piece of leather.
@Paul Thompson okay! So you're asking what did I use to slick the back with. It's called Gum Trag which is short for Gum Traggacanth (not sure about the spelling).

I absolutely love the way you explain in detail any and all your projects. Can’t thank you enough for you expertise.
Fantastic project with so many creative possibilities
Great little project. Wish you could have shown more detail on the saddle attachment
I agree. Looking back I wish I had included more as well.
We're going to be doing another one shortly. I'll make sure to go into detail in that video.
You certainly did earn your 'thumbs up' on this one! You packed so many wonderful lessons into this short video!!! Wow!
the layers of colour make all the difference - give great depth and variation. Lovely ❤
Awesome project, Daniel!

Great tips and a very different kind of project. Thank you!
I’d love to see the finished product like promised! I can’t quite see how the saddle holds the paper.
This video shows the saddle a little bit better! ua-cam.com/video/7LUwDT9_ubs/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Wish you had taken just a little more time showing that last stitch on the saddle. Aside from that wonderful video.
I appreciate the feedback and how kind you were about it. I'll keep that in mind for future videos. 😊
You really got the hang of it. Your vids are awesome and you're a good motivator as well. I really enjoy watching this series. 👍🏻

Thanks for the idea and the tutorial!
Thanks, the exact technique I needed to know for my next project!
Which technique? What's the project? Just curious. 😊

@@Guiseppi66 Did you complete the 'tiger head' project? I would love to see it if you have a photo posted anywhere!
What do you put on the back? I have been unable to hear what you said.
I'm not sure which part you're talking about. Can you give me a time stamp? I'll go listen and then translate my Texas accent. 😊
@@DanielReachCreations While I'm not speaking for Paul Thompson, I don't think it's your accent, you rushed through details!

Nice.... Thanks. ^^'
Thanks for the video and pattern, although the important details are rushed, which is typical of all your videos.
